Iris is an interesting little joint. It's very modern and has a small outdoor area. The gentleman serving was very kind, but just recently started. The coffees made were very good, but the tea we ordered was started late and was a bit lackluster in flavor. We had waited for seven minutes after our coffee and two other orders were processed.
Still, not a reason to not visit as the coffee is great and I am sure it's just a one off experience.
Another concern was that when we arrived they did not have any food available. Apparently they had food when they opened, but the menu hasn't been updated so they stopped bringing it in.
I will give this place another go in the future, and I hope the food will be available!

Cute, cheap and coffee. Stopped for a quick break while taking family around the city and had a nice time with delicious coffee.

Without a doubt one of the best coffee shops I've been to. The baristas are incredibly skilled. We ordered a variety of milk drinks. Cortados, lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, and even a butterfly pea flower latte which all came out with beautiful art and in heavy, quality drinkware. It was quite busy when we visited, but they still brought out each drink individually where we were sitting. I didn't get a chance to try their seasonal drinks but they seem worth checking out. I definitely get the sense that they are experimenting with their coffee and that's always cool to see. And kudos to stocking B&W beans!

Staff were very kind, nice little spot. Would recommend checking it out. Wasn’t too busy around 8-9am, so a great place to do some work.

I know I should be coming here for the shots of espresso. And I do. But honestly, my coffee order is full of oat milk so I can hardly taste the coffee. I don’t come here for the coffee. I come for the dopamine. Iris is full of the kindest people. Everyone who works here is wonderful and particularly the 3 guys who work here are super hot and make me feel like a worthwhile human. So I will keep coming multiple times per week for the dopamine. I don’t care what you put in my coffee. Y’all are the greatest.

The coffee is AMAZING!! Often I find myself craving flavored lattes but I hate sweet drinks. Usually I end up disappointed when trying something new but the barista helped me out! The cherry marzipan latte was so outstanding I didn't expect to like it so much. The staff is friendly and the vibes are so nice.

It's a good spot if you want to work on your laptop. Unlimited wi-fi :) which you can't find in some other coffee shops in Raleigh. The coffee is good. The music is not too loud. Great customer service.

So I ordered a hot chocolate and I asked for whipped cream and they said they didn’t have any. I asked if they ran out and they said they actually don’t carry it. I find it very odd for a coffee shop. You try to support a small business but when odd things like this happen, you realize you should have just gone to Starbucks!
