A treat to the senses 🥰

First time visiting Agora for brunch with a couple of my girlfriends this week -- truly an adorable Pinehurst venue. We were eager to give it a try, as it's a newer attraction in the village. Guests order their selections at the counter, then are served after they've chosen a table. We chose a small table in their Carolina room and enjoyed lattes, fruit tea, and butterfly lemonade. (HIGHLY recommend the butterfly lemonade).

Atmosphere & aesthetic are hard to beat in this area BUT…
My one complaint was our brunch orders took a bit longer than we'd preferred, and I ordered a scrambled egg and cheese croissant. which came fried instead.

If you're looking for a quaint breakfast or coffee spot to enjoy your morning (indoor/ or outdoor), Agora is a beautiful location to spend an hour or two. In my opinion, the beverages far outdo the food but i will be back to try something different next time.

Excellent coffee (Counter Culture), great breakfast and lunch options, true Parisian croissants, ever changing macarons, a beautiful environment and friendly staff. Not to mention, they sell house plants :)

The location is in the heart of downtown Pinehurst, and the inside is so cute. The outside is very nice too and comfy. This is a great spot to work or meet someone for coffee. The food I ordered, which was just the standard breakfast plate, was just okay. Not great. I wouldn't order it again. My sister ordered the Turkey and Brie and loved it!
I look forward to going back and trying out other items.

It would not let me reply... but my suggestion would be to add turkey or chicken sausage or turkey bacon (I did not see any non-pork options for breakfast besides avocado). Also, whoever is making the eggs needs a cooking lesson on how to cook them better. Thank you for asking!

Super chic looking place in an old bank. Wonderful menu options and baked goods. Staff was fantastic. They're expanding to more outside space and later hours for beer and wine opportunities. I'm a fan of macarons so I had to try them as well. They're good although a little on the too sweet side. Still worth a visit. I'll be back.

Breakfast or Lunch I love savoring every bite. I like the sandwhich offerings here and today's guilty pleasure for my tastebuds is the Italian. Agora provides a beautiful atmosphere to go with their beautiful coffees! I highly recommend trying their Iced Espresso. Shhh! It's not on the menu so you will have to ask for it. Enjoy!

Portions are smaller and prices are fairly reasonable, both of which I actually liked. But my avocado toast was barely toasted and bland, flat white was VERY bitter and not good, music was too loud, and the bathroom was out of toilet paper. Atmosphere was nice.

I went in for a quick lunch on the go. Staff was friendly and efficient. There were people in front of me waiting for food, but I still got my food quickly and it tasted nice and fresh! It also smelt amazing.

Loved this experience. It's a little crowded during peak hours. We went at 11am, right between breakfast and lunch. The line was a bit long and you could feel the people being anxious. The Staff! The staff was excellent, even with a rush they were calm, patient and cared. The food was amazing. I ordered the bacon turkey club, and the bread is mouth watering alone. We ordered macaroons too, and the vanilla was delicious. My wife had a monthly special coffee, and the chocolate croissant and she loved them as well. I'll post photos next time I return, and yes, we will most definitely come back. They have a ton of pastries that I'd like to try if I can stop myself from from getting another club.

Took my family from out of town into Agora for a coffee and pastry. It wasn’t very busy. We ordered two coffees and one pastry. We were given our pastry right away and sat down to wait for our coffees. After 20 minutes of waiting for our coffees to be made and watching 5 employees just stand behind the counter, my husband approached the counter to politely ask about our drinks. He was met by what seemed like a supervisor who was very impolite and “shooed” him away saying they were working on it. When, in fact, no one was working on anything. Another 15 minutes went by before receiving our coffees and neither were made correctly. We left and won’t be returning. Agora has a lot of space to spread out and study/relax. Being a student and working close by I would love to go in and study and have coffee. But after being met with such disdain on my first visit, I will not be back.

We used to love this place and have been weekly customers since they opened. However in the past six months everything has gone downhill. Service is poor at best and the last three times I have gone there they’ve either been out of coffee or weren’t able to make hot drinks. Really unfortunate since it started out a great place but I’ll be just going to Starbucks from now on.
