This is my favorite place to go for a waffle and coffee while I get work done. I loved that they were open late, and am so sad they have cut their hours to 6pm. I can't get over there nearly as much anymore, but would still recommend others try their games and fun food/drink menu. There is also local art for sale, and the employees are always super nice.

This coffee shop is ADORABLE! You can rent board games, they have awesome food that is reasonably priced, coffee, tea, handmade, game-themed local crafts, very friendly baristas, and an awesome cute aesthetic. You’ve got to check it out!

I've been to Meeple's Brew a handful of times and I'm always so pleased with the quality of the service. My friends and I bought a day pass ($5/person) and got lunch. Later on, we all bought milkshakes (which I'd definitely recommend!) Many board game cafes provide a great selection of games and Meeple's Brew is no different, but what sets them apart from other board game cafes is their excellent food and beverages. I'd stop in here just to get a snack or drink even if I wasn't going to stay and play games. James (one of the board game masters at the store) helped us pick something to play that fit our likes/complexity/time, took the time to explain the rules, and checked back in several times to see if we had any questions. I'd definitely recommend this if you're in the area and looking for a place to eat and play something with friends!

Interesting coffee shop. Serving nice, coffee, tea and smoothie. We ordered several drinks and they all came out great.

Adorable spot - great coffee, good breakfast items, reasonable prices. Hope to come back and play some games once Covid-19 is under control!

The werewolf waffle paired with a lavender blackberry white mocha…it’s phenomenal. Great service and fun games.

Ordered the regular waffle, was told they did not serve butter with waffles anymore and unfortunately I got a very dry, crispy on the outside waffle, with just a 2oz cup of syrup. Without fat to offset it, it was cloyingly sweet and too dry, I was unable to finish it unfortunately.
Friend got the Slamwhich, which she did was dissapponted in as well. The waffle was to crispy for sandwich bread and was a bit to dry for the egg/bacon to offset unfortunately. Her strawberries were old as well.
Atmosphere is great, the board games are cool, and the coffees and baked goods looked great but unfortunately the breakfast here is nothing to write home about so I you are simply hungry I would look elsewhere.

The best coffee shop in and around the area of Raleigh, Morrisville and Durham! Been here a handful of times for coffee, drinks, and sometimes just playing board games. They have great coffee, food and a huge selection of books and board games. Highly recommend for any occasion!
