Swede’s Cafe

Great food and atmosphere. With working at a salon within walking distance, it’s always so nice they will deliver it to us or we can just walk to get it. The Pimento Cheese Grilled Cheese is amazing!!

Pros: Tasty cappuccino, prompt service, clean tables, sanitary restroom.
Cons: Smoke from burnt oil filled all areas. All windows were closed, unfortunately, making clothes and hair smell bad.

My mother and I *shamelessly* eat at Swede’s on a weekly basis. I’ve yet to try anything that I don’t like. My personal favorites are the chicken salad croissant, reuben, french toast, potato soup, roasted red pepper gouda soup and iced lavender honey latte. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere feels like home for us.

Really enjoyed their Iced honey/vanilla coretado latte. Their egg bowl scramble is deceptively filling, basic but tasty. My wife really enjoys their scones. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pretty cool being over a neat little shop with fun nit-knacks.

Great little spot with good specials! Food was good along with the pricing!

They don't have any fresh eggs. Asked for over easy and was told "We don't actually have any eggs to crack"

It's all microwaved and premade. The "scrambled bowl" was just chopped up premade sausage and egg patties.... And it didn't have any cheese as advertised. Watery and flavorless.

FINALLY...a great ruben. After a couple other restaurants failed to deliver the perfect ruben, I got a 4.5 / 5 star one here! Only thing missing was a great dijon like Lusty monk or Mr. Mustard and will be a 5*****. Vivian ordered the chicken salad on a croissant and was totally happy too. Great chip choices, fresh fruit. This place is a keeper. The General Store downstairs is super cute too with a good selection of puzzles and toys, interesting candy and desserts, sauces, and gourmet foods. Love it!

Passing through town we stumbled upon this Cafe, located downtown on the second floor above a cute gift shop. Very cute, super clean spot with delicious food & coffee!! We stopped for breakfast, we tried the homemade scones, breakfast sandwiches, banana & PB wrap & french toast. All super yummy!! The mocha was amazing!! Then you get to shop when you're done; win, win!!

Solid food, good coffee, and a great environment.
