I thought I was walking into a coffee shop, but WOW was I surprised. Sure they have coffee but this a military museum. The collection is amazing. I wish I could have spent more time talking to the vets about all the items but I had an appt to get to. Definitely worth another visit.

Come for the stories. Stay for a cuppa . Local Veterans hangout and war museum. Its a bit of a memorial . And also has some games and a military library. If your kids are doing any history reports on conflicts this is agreat place to go research.

A wonderful place with classic live music that isn't to in your face. The food was very good and the staff was nice! Lots of older folk and the place is military themed but it was a great atmosphere!

I visited Richard's Coffee Shop on Saturday May 18, 2013. I served with Dick Warren in Helicopter Flight School in the Class of 69-11. We both went to Vietnam and later on joined up with Richard in 1970 with the 56th Aviation Detachment at Coleman Barracks, in Germany. We flew VIP AIR TAXI and flew Colonels, Generals and Dignitaries all around Germany. Richard was a very fine person and very Dedicated to the United States Army.
Richard started something that has turned out to be OUTSTANDING, in honoring All Veterans of All Wars and All Branches of Service. My Visit to Richard's was a very moving experience to see what Richard has done for all of us Veterans. I recommend to all veterans to take the time to visit Richard's Coffee Shop.
On this Memorial Day, Please extend a Slow Hand Salute to Richard in his honor for his Dedication to honoring us Vets Back Home.

Saturdays are the best time (any Saturday) to visit Richard's Coffee Shop. Live music until afternoon; friendly people; displays honoring the contributions of American's military.

Very interesting museum. Take time to browse. Vets will very welcome here. Very hometown feel. My breakfast was excellent too!

My son moved to Mooresville and being a vet he had to take his old corp dad to check it out. If you are a vet you need to stop in, if you're a Viet Nam vet you have to stop in, you will get your welcome home brothers, guaranteed.

Mooresvilles secret. Always fun, live music on Saturday mornings. My grandfather is a Vet from the Nazy, he loves being around the other Vets.

A wonderful place to remember our military heroes that have gone and hang out with the ones that are still with us! Go on a Saturday morning for live music!

I just don't recall a place that feels like such a warm, friendly and helpful place! Every single person I met was so kind and caring, and treated my husband and I like we were family!
