Welcome Home Veterans at Richard's Coffee Shop

I am a Veteran from Texas and we went to visit. My husband was telling me about a place where all the Veterans meet. I was not disappointed. This is the most welcoming place for Veterans and run by Veterans that I have ever been in. And the best part...they all talk to each other. I felt like I was in someones home at a family reuinion. Please please please never ever close down. My generation and the ones to come really need this place to stick around.

One of the most unique coffee shops I have ever visited. If you are a veteran or interested in veterans, this place is a must visit. From the time you walk in you are surrounded and welcomed. First time veterans are invited to sign in and, during announcements, are introduced to the crowd. Lots of military memorbilia to see and a place to buy veteran and service related hats, pins, etc. Also, Thursday is free coffee day...

This coffee shop is far from your standard shop. What I didn't know was that it was also a museum to honor veterans. It is an amazing experience, especially if you are a veteran. If you are looking for a quick coffee, then go elsewhere. If you are looking for a coffee and some really great company, come here. You will be welcomed from the heart.

Absolutely the most patriotic coffee shop in America. Enjoy Free coffee for Veterans every Thursday, and Free live music BY Veterans every Saturday from 9-noon. Come in and meet some of our WWII Vets. Today there was a WWII Submariner, a B-24 pilot, and a sailor that was instrumental in the "Manhattan Project. ". These men are my HEROES; they saved the world ! Hope to see you there.

A great experience. I've attended several of their gatherings and meetings. It's a great experience and opportunity to re-live our American history.

Outstanding experience! I have never felt so supported & at home as a vet. Thursdays are a regular gathering time, and Saturdays I understand they have live music. Great experience!!

Excellent breakfast sandwich, coffee and hospitality. It was a pleasure to speak to so many soldiers about their own personal military experiences. Thank you to Richard and everyone that helps make Richard's Coffee shop what it is today.

Nice place downtown. They helped host a 5k for charity and I liked the breakfast food I got there. They have some veterans who play instruments sometimes get together and perform gospel and country in the resturant. Some good memorabelia to look over; great place.

It is an honor to be among all these great American Veterans.

as a U.S. Army Veteran of NC I love this place been here twice they welcome Armed Forces Veterans with open arms. Don't Come into this establishment if your going to bad mouth American Troops this isnt the place
