Filament Coffee + Tea

I’m really a simple girl… Good Coffee, cute trinkets and plants make me happy. 🥹 This was not my original destination on my visit to Mebane but I’m so glad I walked down the street. What a super cute coffee spot! I loved the decor! Bravo for the cute way they squeezed an entire retail space in the front, full seating along the wall, a little corner in the back near the door and a booth seat. I mean I loved everything. My hubby got a Caramel Latte w/ Oak Milk, my son got the Mango Peach tea with extra simple syrup
A rice crispy treat & a chive scone, (I know… he’s got the craziest taste buds) and I got a London Fog with espresso shots Oak milk and some extra Lavender syrup. (Yes recently I’ve been putting Lavender in everything) We ALL enjoyed our drinks! My husband is just as picky as I am and he said in the car on the way home: dang I should’ve gotten a second cup to go! We even sat inside in the back corner and enjoyed our drinks while we chatted and my son counted every person in the building. I wish I lived closer to go more often. I’d definitely make the 30 minute drive to visit again for another cup of joe and small town magic.

A little less than an hour from Raleigh NC a delightful find in the heart of Mebane! Enjoyable ambiance with a wonderful selection of fresh coffee, tea's and pastries. Cosy and elegant with friendly staff. Vibe is great with lots of folks working, studying and just relaxing catching up with friends! Well done Filament Coffee and Tea.

This was a beautiful shop. I came to get a little work done with my partner and it was a very peaceful workplace. The decor is amazing and the drinks were good as well. I would def recommend if you need a place to meet up with a friend to talk or just to get out for a little bit

Nice list of coffees, teas (no bottled water folks), has homemade herbal lemonade too

Foods are scones, and other breakfast goodies (no grill, so don’t expect a full breakfast - not as if that’s common to coffee shops tbh)

Music is kinda indie local stuff, but doesn’t distract from the well lit but comforting atmosphere (pine, ash-grey, white and mauve tones set a pleasant atmosphere with the upbeat music)

Pier One / Michael’s like trinkets sold in the public area, but care was taken so it is in the same color palette of the other decor - so it’s not bothering and actually kinda keeps the place pretty visually interesting

Maybe a few more matcha / chocolate goodies and a tad lower on the lights … but these aren’t slights by any means

Highly recommended (being a pianist wish they had a piano, would love to play here ha)

I always love supporting small business. Great atmosphere and yummy coffee. Stop by and try their S’mores cappuccino. It’s a seasonal special and won’t disappoint.

Loved the atmosphere and the service. The coffee was great, I got the iced Butterbeer, pictured below, and it was smackin. I’m a fan of the butterbeer drinks they got in Universal so it was a bit of a nostalgia trip. The service and atmosphere are really what I would capitalize on because they were both very lovely. The shop itself was very well lit and cool. Very nice place to study or read a book or even talk to somebody. The coffee was a bit pricy for me but that’s personal. I ended up spending about $5 for a 16oz coffee, while I prefer getting stuff a little cheaper; however, that’s purely my preference and I still highly recommend coming here over starbucks. I believe I’ll revisit this place in the future.

We ordered drinks off their Spring menu and both were delicious. Love the atmosphere! Customer service was great and spacious seating available.

Filament is an awesome coffee shop! Our coffees were exactly as ordered and the scone was delicious! Great place to kickback and hangout. Looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

Wonderfully lit and open space. Welcoming staff to match the energy of the shop! The raspberry bar and scone hit the spot. I’m good cafe fashion, I had to order the iconic drink, The Filament. Amazing happy I stopped in:)

Love this place! Great staff and amazing coffee. I enjoy looking through the little shopping area too. Little bit of everything!
