Camden’s Library Coffee House

I have loved this place ever since it opened. All the employees respect NC coronavirus regulations and I feel perfectly safe and comfortable in this shop. The coffee is always perfectly delicious and the baristas are very friendly and polite, even when unsavory people are causing a scene.

We rented a cabin in Mars Hill for the weekend and came down to find some coffee. Found this gem. The coffee was so delicious! The atmosphere was friendly and warm. We were allowed to sit and sip our coffee and chat together without being harrassed about covid measures. The seating is well spaced for social distancing so you don't have to worry when your mask is off. The only thing we were sad about is that they were closed on Sunday!

Great Coffee shop! Stopped in on our way to a hike and we were greatly impressed. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff.

I enjoy hanging out here though coffee is a mixed bag. Sometimes it amazingly good, other times it not made with love. If you're a chess player there are multiple sets if you're able to fine someone to match witg. Overall well kept, clean place to kickback for awhile. Would give it 5 stars except for the coffee issue.

By far the best coffee shop in WNC. I love the environment and the staff is always so friendly. They take pride in not only their food and drinks but in the cleanliness of their space and it shows. I totally recommend it!!

I have been a customer at Camden’s Library now since they have opened up. They never disappoint me with their drinks or the food they have prepared for me. I’m very close with some of the workers here, too, and am always treated fairly, and with respect. To the man who decided to make a fuss about the customers not wearing masks, everyone who sets foot into this building has a mask on their person at all times unless they are consuming something. Trying to set up local businesses up for failure by leaving a harmful review causes more issues than you think, so I would rethink your review, Brian. To the future customers of Camden’s Library, know this is a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for all people. I have much love for this building and all of the workers here and I couldn’t thank them enough for the amount of kindness and hospitality they express towards all people. Too bad I can’t leave 6 stars instead of 5!

Amazing place that makes you feel like a part of the family. They have been wonderful during the pandemic, masks are always on and plexiglass up, and lots of sanitizer. (and they even have some for sale!) I am so thankful for this little gem. My first stop every morning before work. Can't say enough nice things about the staff and owners.

What a neat and comfy place! Always on the lookout for cozy coffee shops and The Library is a prime location! Plenty of space for social distancing, but every seating option looked cozy and intimate. Smoothies are excellent too, get a Piña Colada/Mango combo, you won't regret it!
