Camden’s Library Coffee House

Had the dark roast; wonderful. They serve smoothies & tea as well. The place has books everywhere for you to read and enjoy.

I wish we had a place like this in my city. Friendly employees, cozy atmosphere, delicious coffee drinks, dog-friendly, and lots of personal touches that make it feel very homey. Nice laid back live music on Friday too! Exactly what we needed after a cold day of hiking nearby. Highly recommend!

I always enjoy this place. It is now called Camden coffee house in honor of the owner's son. Large space with comfortable seating inside and 2 benches on the sidewalk in front. They make excellent coffee drinks regardless of who is working. They do have very limited food selection. I have never had anything but coffee so I can't evaluate that. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great stop if you're craving a latte or other drink. BTW, tea and smoothies are also available.

Great little coffee shop! They sell coffee, smoothies, hot tea and even have a cooler of other drink choices as well. I love the chill atmosphere and helpful staff! This would be a wonderful place to sit back in a plush leather seat and read a good book while sipping on your piping hot latte!

This is a hidden gem! The coffee is wonderful, pastries are awesome and the folks that work there are the best! They are always engaging, personable and friendly. Being from Florida, I have always made a point to stop by as my son attended the numerous soccer camps at the university. Now that he is enrolled and will be playing for the next four years, I can’t wait to spend more time here! Please stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

Great little coffee shop with the sweetest staff! When I get to work in that area, I always make sure to drop by for an iced coffee. They've been open a few years now, and their products have always been consistently wonderful! Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

Very cool place! Lots of books, games, and comfy couches. Great place to talk to friends and strangers alike; lots of social people hang out here. Good amount of regulars, but they’re all very inclusive. Not a coffee drinker, but good vegan snacks and teas. The baristas/employees are all really cool and friendly except the tall male MHU student with glasses, who’s very unwelcoming and unpleasant.

Camden’s is one of my favorite places north of Asheville to read, socialize, and do computer work.

This place deserves a five star rating for atmosphere and I bet their food is great too. I’m coming at this review from the angle of wanting a coffee place nearby that makes quality coffee. Camdens is the nearest coffeehouse to where I live and as someone who loves coffee I should go there regularly, or at least I would think. When I’ve gone to Camden‘s in the past the coffee I get doesn’t sit well with my stomach, flavors are concealed behind the burnt flavor (I know some of y’all like that burnt flavor tho!) and the coffee just doesn’t make me feel good. Please Camdens! Do something to your coffee that makes me want to be an avid customer. I’ll spend my money at your place instead of going into Burnsville, Asheville, etc… peace and thank you for reading!
