Went to get a "treat" for my son, he loved it and had fun watching the donut robot. Great deal on made to order donut, like $1.50. My wife was disappointed that they didn't have soy or almond milk for coffee drinks.

Great customer service. Helped with the ordering process which was intimidating with so many options. GREAT donut! We had a classic glaze w sprinkles, maple chocolate bacon and a peanut butter glaze with BlackBerry sauce & Graham dust that taste JUST LIKE a PBnJ!!!

Fresh donuts made in front of you, choose the offered flavor or build your own donut by adding the desired glaze and topping that is offered for you, we loved this place!

Duck Donuts is a bit overpriced, but it's definitely worth it! You order in one building, the pick them up right across the boardwalk in another building. The donuts are made fresh, and boy are they good! We will definitely stop here again!

Come here every year with my sister after sunrise. This year was SIGNIFICANTLY more busy than we have ever seen so we decided to just place an online order to come back and pick up later (2 hours later!!). Staff is friendly and everyone is hustling their butt off- so it’s definitely worth going but you have to be patient!

A classic OBX staple. No trip to OBX is complete without a stop to this establishment.. Fresh donuts made to order. My kids go nuts for these donuts like no other.

I went in to get coffee. I waited 40 minutes to get my coffee only to ask the guy that checked me out what is taking so long. He proceeds to tell me the espresso machine is down… he said he could get the manager to get a refund. Manager comes out doesn’t apologize or look at me. I tried to hand my receipt to her and she just says she doesn’t need it. Then gives me back cash for a purchase that was done on my credit card. And it wasn’t the right amount. They kept my $2 tip. If she had looked at the receipt I tried to give her or asked if I wanted it cash or back on my credit card or had any amount of conversation with me, I am sure this mistake wouldn’t have happened.
At the other location 2 days ago and the service and general atmosphere was way better.

We LOVE Duck Donuts, but why do they employ such negative and unfriendly people? I get people have bad days, but the woman we saw there yesterday gave nasty glances and I ably communicated to customers through grunts and groans. I’m just glad we weren’t one of the workers there because she was downright awful to the young kids working there. However, some “management” person walked in 10 minutes before close and she was all smiles, laughter, and made herself look like the hardest worker there. I WONT return to this location and I will be on the lookout for her at the other locations too.

Not like I remembered (as far as the service). Back at the OBX after 15 years and had to get a Duck Donut! Was moderately busy but I was determined to check out a donut. Couple in front of me ordered Lattes, no donuts. So, the Lady taking the orders stopped taking orders and made the Lattes (while the two ladies making the donut orders waited for the next order). Two employees in the back room milled about doings what they do. Apparently no body else was authorized to take orders. After about 5 minutes, I got my donuts and left.
Today I went back for another donut fix. This time, one other customer in the shop, an older gentleman running the donut fryer, and the same two ladies making the donut orders. Nobody at the register taking orders, and now three people milling around in the back, (two of which made eye contact with me). After about 3 or four minutes of not even being acknowledged, I left.
Duck Donuts are good, but I don't need them that bad.

Scheduled a pick-up order for 10:30. Showed up 6 minutes early, said “I know I’m early but figured I’d let you know I’m here.” The girl looked thoroughly annoyed, said “it’s not 10:30 yet” and walked away. 20 minutes later I’m still sitting there with no donuts. I wanted to yell “is it 10:30 yet?!” You work at a donut shop. Lose the attitude. Also, worst coffee I’ve ever had in my life. Donuts were good though.
