I absolutely love this coffee shop! It’s in a very quiet area so you can enjoy it indoors or outdoors. It’s very clean and welcoming with tons of space.
As a flight attendant, I visit at least one new coffee shop per week, but this local shop is top 5! The coffee flavor is 10/10.
I got an iced americano 1/2 caf with sugar free vanilla and a little bit of oat milk. I would get one daily if I let myself!
All of the pastries look amazing

Visited for the first time this morning and it was absolutely fantastic! I love that all of their products are ethically sourced. Highly recommend the Maple Sunrise and ALL of the macarons!
Before visiting, I checked out the website as well as the reviews here on Google. I have to say, I absolutely love how the owner/manager stands by their employees 100% of the time (who were incredibly polite and welcoming, by the way). I’m also happy to pay an extra $1-2 for a cup of coffee with a strong mission, and love a company that does right by its customers, suppliers, and employees. Needless to say, I’ll be back to try more menu items very soon!

My friend and I just went here for the first time. First of all, we were not aware it was in the back of a church. Both of us are queer and felt an immediate hesitancy not knowing if we’d be welcomed there. We walked in hoping for the best because the reviews looked great, but did not receive a particularly warm welcome from the barista. The drinks we ordered were delicious, though he gave us the wrong muffin- he said he had blueberry but what my friend got was cinnamon peach. When we told him it wasn’t what she ordered, and that it was peach instead, he said “peach? we don’t sell peach. cranberry maybe?” my friend knows what she tasted, and it felt off-putting and dismissive. At that point we decided to leave. I’m writing this review to raise awareness for anyone coming that it’s in a Church and perhaps for Defined to consider the way they treat customers who don’t look like them or who aren’t a part of this church’s community.

My first time here. I got the maple sunrise. One sip. I couldn’t help but say “oh my God this is nasty” so we will not be returning lol. I cannot BELIEVE someone approved that for the menu.

Disappointed in my first experience here. We got two regular iced coffees, small size, not even espresso, with one pump caramel and the total was $17.50. This is hands down the most expensive drink I’ve EVER bought, and it doesn’t even taste good. Very unfortunate that the price is astronomical like this. I actually thought it was a mistake to be charged like that.

I was looking for great coffee in the areas. Define had the best reviews in a 15 minute radius so I drove over. I didn’t realize it was in a common area of a church. I decided to proceed in and not worry that I would be asked to join a church I was unfamiliar with in order to buy a desperately needed cup of coffee. Inside the barista explained the rent the space and are not affiliated with the church. The cappuccino I ordered was delicious and the employees were very nice. There were no cult vibes about the place either. There were some people getting coffee and other people maybe on the way to the other church buildings. The grounds were beautiful and facility was very clean and kept up.

My friend was in town and she decided before she left that she wanted some coffee so we searched for a place with nice reviews and found this one.
So we came here on a rainy day and while the space was beautiful, clean, and warm; and the coffee and pastries were good, the energy surrounding the place was not the best which is off putting because it was inside of a church. We are not religious but were raised in it and didnt expect to feel much like a spectacle when we arrived.
The main issue was our interaction with our barista who was very cold shouldered and very dismissive our entire 20 min of being there. I am a server and a part of the job is learning and remembering peoples orders so that they feel heard. The barista was not very welcoming and that was a clear sign that he wasnt too interested in taking care of us, he was also very quick to shut us down when we told him that the blueberry muffin that he gave me was actually peach cinnamon and barely ever made eye contact.
I dont typically drink coffee but I did today for my friend and I will not be bringing my friend back here ever again. I think this space is probably for a specific group of people and/or Christians and they made that very clear with body language and nonverbal communication today. The lack of diversity in the reviews speak for itself.

Loved the atmosphere of this place. Very spacious with lots of different seating options that made sitting in groups feel more intimate. The coffee was delightful. Got the cold cinnamon latte with wildflower honey and two macarons. An absolute delight. Seating indoors and outdoors, very friendly, helpful staff, wonderful place to just go and decompress.

I'm so sad, I love this place but won't be going back. I've been a customer and go every time I'm in town but this morning I ordered 2 drinks and it came to $16.
I pay around $9. for the same order at the drive through near me. When I asked how I just ordered 2 $8 drinks the young man said, things cost more everywhere.
