Waterbean Coffee

Too much water, not enough bean. Their mocha was a 2/5 if I had to rate it. My partner also had a negative experience with their drink. $10 each, too.

My new favorite place to get work done. Before this place opened there wasn't really a decent cafe or coffee shop to work/study. The atmosphere is perfect - like a little piece of Charlotte was brought to Hickory. The owner is really nice.

The coffee is great! The only thing that could make it better would be better quality food for the price. It's slightly pricey and the food is just.. okay. It's good enough if I'm starving but not amazing. The most disappointing item so far was the avocado toast. I think my expectations were a bit too high.. it was just a thin piece of toast with what tasted like store bought avocado spread on it. For $6 and change it would've been nice for some chunky spread on it or at least a little more avocado. Perhaps an egg included on the toast instead of separate. If ya'll could rework the food menu a bit to make it more substantial then this place would be an 11/10.

Atmosphere looks great, coffee was excellent and the breakfast was good. Service is quick which was a great plus, keep up the great work! Definitely need more places like this in Hickory

Went this morning for the first time. The atmosphere is great! Seats are comfy, not hard uncomfortable. Our coffees were great! We got the peanut butter cup lattes.

Love the atmosphere and environment of this coffee shop and have always had pleasant experiences until today. The drink I ordered had sour milk in it, I hate sending items back, but I could not drink this. Upon taking the drink back to the front counter, the staff was throwing whipped cream in the air and trying to catch it in their mouth. When I expressed my concern, they told me the milk had not yet expired. I understand this, however it tasted sour. They agreed to make me a new drink with almond milk. While doing so, they proceeded to talk about me when I was within earshot saying they 'just bought the milk' and it 'only tastes bad because it is fat free milk.' I understand problems arise, however, I did not appreciate how I was treated by the staff and will not be returning.

Great coffee, great staff, great store! I have nothing bad to say about this coffee shop! They even have a wonderful selection of teas & a small food menu!

This is exactly what we needed in Hickory! A nice high quality coffee shop that serves authentic coffees! The cappuccino I had was by far the best cappuccino I've gotten in History. Looking forward to trying their food and exploring their unique drinks!
