Taproot Coffee

Delicious fresh coffee with a rich, smooth flavor! We loved the Honduran Dark Roast as we like dark coffee. We also tried the Peru which was smooth tasting as well. We ordered by mail and our order was received promptly and well packaged.

Best Coffee in Hickory, hands down! Make sure you pick up a bag of their roasted beans while you're there. Fresh roasted by Taproot and very inexpensive for specialty coffee.

We have been wanting to stop here for a while and finally got the chance today. Great deal for amazing coffee and a funky fresh atmosphere. In case you’re wondering, any form of payment will work (that’s what took us so long to try it we figured it was cash only but it’s definitly not!) We ordered an espresso shot and a latte and both were better than anywhere else we have tried. We will be regulars! Thanks!

Rock star baristas. I’m from out of town, but anytime I am passing through Hickory I always stop by the bus! Worth the 3 hour drive! Great place to find Hickory locals.

Nice atmos and not your run of the mill cup o'Joe here! Nice to watch your coffee made fresh in front of you and not squirted in a cup from a container that's how many hours old?
Sit there and enjoy it and you can pick up on some different taste notes!

I ordered the Americano. It was a delicious flavorful cup. Coffee had robust flavor. I had to take my coffee and go but there were chairs outside for people to sit and enjoy.

I’m used to a good European coffee, I hesitate to try new coffee houses in the USA because almost all the time they are burnt and bitter. Finally I have found a place where the coffee is not just good ... is perfect !! Smooth and bold.

Splendid in-house roasted coffee, hosted by knowledgeable staff in a quaint and welcoming converted bus. I thought it was an interesting setup, and was pleased to have stumbled on this gem with my wife.
