Emerson's Coffee

Absolutely the BEST coffee ever. I hate crowds for the most part, so going to the mall is not fun for me. But I will go just to get my favorite iced mocha from Emerson. You won't be disappointed

Nice locally owned coffee stop on the lower level of Valley Mills Mall towards the JC Penneys end of the building. More of a grab n' go place than a sit n' work place. Grab a coffee or small packs of flavored beans and other coffee gear + condiments while taking a break from your shopping errands.

Stopped by today and ordered a German chocolate cake frappe and it was nothing like the ones I've ordered in the past. Didn't realize until I had left (cause I was in a rush), that there weren't any coconut flakes in or on it, and it had this weird taste to it, like dish soap, is the best way to put it. The workers weren't friendly as you walked up to order, no smiles or greetings, and not even a "thank you/have a nice day" as you were handed your drink. I rarely come to hickory but when I do, I usually stop by here and this visit was just highly disappointing.

This is hands down my favorite coffee place ever! The workers are always great and friendly. I wish we had one in Viewmont but never mind the drive 🙂

That coffee in there smoothies are excellent if you want something fresh and tasty that's the place I would suggest

Friendly, fast staff- good coffee-just a little pricey!

A big fan but very disappointed that they had no regular coffee at 5:45pm and the young lady today was quite abrupt about it. This is the 1st time I have ever experienced this here. If they decide not to brew 1.5 hrs before closing it is their store... Update: The owners responded quickly. Like I said, I am a huge fan and the regular folks who are usually there are fantastic. This experience was clearly an anomaly. Our favorite coffee stop.

We stopped by in a hurry and the had the best Sugar free Irish cream frap I have ever had! Grabbed a couple others that were excellent too! When we play ball down here again, we will definitely be back!
