Blackbeard Coffee Roasters

Blackbeard is a great place to get coffee when you are near uptown. They have a wide selection and do a wonderful job of making each coffee to order by the customer. The atmosphere is great for doing computer work, meeting friends, or enjoying a seated coffee break in between work. I suggest going mid day if you are staying in, but it is always fast and friendly service. I always recommend to locals or new people coming into town.

Once had a five star review on this place, but it is simply not what it used to be. The last time I visited, almost every aspect of the experience was a let down. The cheddar biscuit I ordered was dry, crumbly, and cold, even though they said it would be heated. My coffee managed to somehow be both strong and bitter, yet taste watery. To finish it off, the customer service from the barista/clerk got so awkward that we finally left. It was very disappointing as this used to be my favorite coffee shop and I have been coming here for years.

Great place! The owner was super friendly and helpful, he suggested the Cortado and I was not disappointed!
Definitely would reccomend

The Caramel Mocha and Jade Cloud Green Tea Were Great! Also, the Cinnamon Roll is a Must!
