Absolutely LOVE this cute little place for many
reasons, first being it's locally owned. Second, the
food is amazing and all of the food is inspired by
old-fashion family recipes of the owners! Third,
the atmosphere and staff are amazing, especially
the new owner! Finally, the fourth reason being
they rent out the shop for catered events! This
little places literally has it ALL!! Highly
recommend!

Mason & Main is a great little spot and recently under new management! The previous owners were fine but the new woman that runs it makes everything in house! The biscuit I had was super fresh and tasted just like my grandmas! It was a huge biscuit too! The pimento cheese sandwich is delicious! Warm, melty, and THE BEST comfort food! The coffee they use is Black & White out of Wake Forest so it is phenomenal! I usually get a latte or flat white! The atmosphere here is great if you want to do some work or just want to relax with a beer! They had a great selection of beer and wine and a few beers on tap as well!

I love this place! Great coffee & even better espresso drinks. Addicted to the chicken salad sandwich. All of the food is homemade and it’s such a cute place! They rent it out too for events, would be the perfect spot for a business event, shower, rehearsal dinner, party.

I visited this coffee shop and enjoyed the fresh coffee, friendly service, and the warm decor of the newly renovated space! I highly recomend grabbing a coffee, or a snack, on your visit to Franklinton.

Great addition to downtown Franklinton. The shop has a great feel and the coffee is good. They sell Black&White coffee from Wake Forest if you are familiar with them. Staff is also very friendly.

Cute place. They used to sell locally made items which I really enjoyed and supported, but they don't anymore. Now it feels different. I'm guessing new management.
I liked to going when I visit family (I live in Raleigh). Today I was quite surprised after ordering a mocha and a pastry, to hear that my order was $13!
I love supporting small business, as I am a small business owner, but unfortunately the prices here have sky rocketed in such a way that I cannot frequent this coffee shop anymore. Which is sad because I was born in Franklinton and I was super excited about this coffee shop opening. I've worked in many coffee shops, and I can honestly that this one was on a good track in the beginning, but something has shifted. The prices here are even more than high end organic specialty coffee shops in Raleigh! It's sad to see what this place can be in the community, and to know it is not on track to be successful or lasting with what they've done.

Mason x Main has by far the best breakfast food at a coffee shop that I have ever had. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is open and cozy, and the people are friendly. Great place to meet up with people or get some work done.

I have loved this place since they opened. Franklinton didn’t have much of anything and when Mason on Main opened up I was over joyed. Cutest place. I’m sadden to see the new owner completely change everything that was good about this spot. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Not sure what’s going on behind the scenes but I’d love to see this place restored as it was. Only good thing I can say about it now is the coffee remains very good.

I had their Charcuterie Board which was excellent. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our evening at open mike night. There was a high school musical theater group there promoting their show, and the whole atmosphere was just pleasant.
