Rathskeller

Really cool little spot, beer and food was very good and fresh. Give them a try!

Never been to Franklin before and ended up at Rathskeller because it looked interesting. Was immediately put off by the “ski shop” smell upon walking in the door, probably because of being located in a basement, but overall a good coffee shop.

Great place for coffee or beer. Cozy place for live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Local artists' work hangs on the walls too.

If your looking for a great dive bar, than dont worry about it cause this place has found you.

The service here is great and the staff are friendly. Personally, I did not enjoy my visit too much but that is because of my preferences. The mood and atmosphere is calm, cool, and dim. I think it is an excellent pub that also has a full coffee bar. We ordered a steamer and a chocolate milkshake; both were quite good. There were multiple patrons there, and everyone was quite friendly. I wish we could have experienced the live music (there is a nice corner furnished with instruments). I appreciate that they have a large shelf with board games and books, alongside a Foosball table. The one couch they have is comfortable, but a little dirty and has a slight smell.

This is the most wonderful place in Franklin north Carolina. The owners are great! We love Adam and Tasha! They have done a great job with this place and are wonderful, respectful, and great people! They get good talent for entertainment and the atmosphere is so relaxing and clean! Love you guys!!!

Coffee was superb! Aviance was relaxing. Staff was knowledgeable and professional. Was very down to earth also. Have a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches. If you want beer or wine, there is a nice list to choose from.

Visited twice in one day because it was just that delicious. Loved my iced lattes and baked goods! Everyone was so kind and lovely. Be sure to stop in!

Oh my goodness. This place has the absolute best cappuccino we've ever had!! And we're pretty particular about our coffee. The staff was super nice and the atmosphere was great. Prices are reasonable. Hands down our favorite stop during our trip to the mountains. My only complaint would be that they aren't open the day we leave town so we can order another coffee.

Great little hole in the wall that is bigger than you think from outside! Interesting decor that has you looking all around wondering what little gem you'll spot next.
Fresh, delicious, "homemade" vegetarian food that is naturally vegetarian and doesn't taste forced vegetarian.
On the back side of Main Street. Has a couple tables outside so you can get fresh air if you like.
Wide selection of drinks including some local brews (beer and soda). Large fancy coffee selection too.
We will add this to our regular spots to eat in town.
