Likely the most authentic German/Swiss/Austrian-style bread you’ll find anywhere this side of the Atlantic.

Whenever we’re in town, Fletcher’s is always our first and last stop. Numerous loaves have been taken back to Florida by us 😅

The gluten free carrot cake they made for my wedding a few weeks ago knocked it out of the park!! Every guest was raving and I think I had four pieces- it was that amazing. Best carrot cake of my life. Thanks for making our day so special and unique for us. 🧡

I've had three experiences with this bakery. First I went there and got a couple almond croissants to take home for breakfast. The pastry was good, but a little over cooked and had very little filling. The second time I ordered Danish to take to work for an office function. They called me the morning of to tell me they had burned the danish and couldn't offer anything to replace it that day. The third time I went just to buy a loaf of bread. I have been a baker at a few bakeries. My grandmother owned a bakery when I was a child. At every bakery I have heard of, a baker gets there early in the morning to make sure the bread is done when they open. Not here. Here the bread is delivered some time around 11:00. I waited for an hour. Every time I went in to check they told me the delivery should arrive "any minute now." Maybe the cafe side is run better. I don't know. I haven't eaten there. It would seem from my experiences that the bakery side is poorly managed. I will not be going back.

The BEST COFFEE ever. Very smooth, not bitter. The food is fresh and local. Bagels made in house. Highly recommend!

Tasty breakfast sammich and cappuccino. Cheerful counter to table service. Everything hot and fresh. Don’t pass on the bakery items. Something for everyone here.

Used to love this place but my family has gotten food poisoning three times now, eating the same thing. Even got sick from lattes once so maybe they aren’t cleaning their milk steam pitcher throughout the day? Their staff seem highly unmotivated (purple hair slackers).

i love this place it’s so so good. anything + everything is delicious and worth the money and calories. highly recommend if you’re in the area. great place to hang out as well !

Only local cafe and bakery in town and it's amazing. The fresh bagels in the morning are amazing and they do sell out sometimes. I'm not a hipster place fan but I can get over it when the food is this good and the staff is friendly unlike what you may find in Asheville.

I enjoy rustic bread but dark rye loaf was too dense, heavy and hard to cut ( with a bread knife). Meh.
