Truly amazing bakery off Asheville Highway in Fletcher. I stumbled upon this place by chance and man am I happy I did. I went back three days in a row. Their coffee is declious (maybe the best in town) and their pastry selection enviable. I'm still dreaming about their fresh peach and pastry cream danish.

Usually get food rather than drink here, many times over the last year. EVERYTHING I have had has been as delicious as hoped. The quiche is particularly divine, not to mention the baked goods. Very friendly staff as well. Outdoor tables as well.

I love FVB. The food is ALWAYS superb and the staff is wonderful. I love the food so much I even had platters made for an informal gathering this past Christmas. I needed it in the morning prior to their opening and they worked it out so everything was fresh and pickup was a breeze. Please keep up the great work and awesome food!

Food was to die for! Everything is fresh or homemade. It was really smokey in the place when we visited which was a little off putting though. And the booths are incredibly small. My husband and I aren't very large but definitely thicker and we couldn't fit in the booths. And all the tables were taken.

This place is hopping, and a great little neighborhood coffee shop & breakfast spot. I got a drip coffee and a raisin bran muffin. Both exceeded my expectations! Absolutely delicious stuff. I can't wait to come back.

It’s a nice local spot to meet a neighbor or friend, but there are some issues:

1. Few outlets if you want to work, although this helps cut down folks that hog the limited seating.
2. Not cheap - you can’t get a cup of drip coffee and a bagel with toppings for under $10, and much of the bread costs close to $9/loaf.
3. Mixed baking quality - a lot of the items I’ve ordered have been over baked.

I used to come weekly but as it’s gotten more crowded and quality has seemed to decline the last few years, I stop by maybe once a month. I believe their opening a third location so they may have lost focus as they expand.

They’ve gotten much better through the years and are very consistent nowadays. This is one of the best bakeries in the area. Eat in or take out. They always have a discounted bread section as well. The staff have been pleasant since Covid as well.

This is such a wonderful little cafe. The sandwiches are delicious with generous, fresh ingredients. Their bread is delicious and their gooey chocolate chip cookies are some of the best I've had.

Love this cafe!! We started coming weekly for coffee and bagels and it’s so wonderful. Employees are always smiling and friendly, there’s tons of space and comfortable seating, and the baked goods are FANTASTIC

Cute little bakery with ample seating area inside. Good coffee, and baked goods
