My friend and I enjoyed our experience at Press. She had been to their older location, so she was excited to try this new location next to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The atmosphere was really cool with modern, trendy furnishings. We had trouble getting service at first because all the staff were running around like crazy. We were finally able to get the attention of the man whom I believe to be the owner, who kindly took our drink orders. We eventually got a waiter to take our food orders but she had a hard time understanding us with the loud background noises. We asked for a side of tater tots twice, but she still managed to not add them to our order. We were very understanding of the confusion though, and it didn't detract from our experience. We both got crepes and they were very good. Our coffee drinks were excellent as well. I think the restaurant could benefit from a more organized staff structure, as it seemed like the staff did not know who was waiting on which tables, and which tables had yet to be served. We also had to ask two different servers for ketchup. Overall it was still a great experience and I am just including these comments so that they can continue to improve and thrive.

I love everything about this cafe! The atmosphere is gorgeous and looks very classy. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly. And, last but not least, the crepes are indescribably delicious! I also highly recommend getting your latte infused with one of the many syrups they have to choose from. You can't go wrong with breakfast or brunch here.

Loved their savory crepes! I got the B’Crepe and my friends got the Farmers Crepe (?) and another savory crepe, but they were all delicious. I’d love to try their special coffee or teas next time. It is a really lovely ambience, however we did go on a Saturday morning and it was incredibly crowded. This was expected but I wish we were able to stay longer! They didn’t allow us to stay and do work because of how busy it was, which is okay. The service was good despite it being so busy! Will definitely come back on a less busy day to try more of their menu.
UPDATE: Went on a weekday and it was so nice to do work and I got their blueberry latte. Their seasonal menu is always so fun to try and the latte actually really did taste like blueberry 😳

Love this coffee place, it’s so pretty inside, but sitting outside is where it’s at!! I’ve only tried their coffee and it’s so good - I love the salted honey lavender latte and my bf’s cappuccino was divine. Only complaint about my latte is, although aesthetically pleasing and adds a nice lavender smell, the lavender on top is not fun to eat and it’s hard to dodge towards the end of the cup. Overall, love this place though!!

Vegans beware. Just an awful experience overall. Was told 45 minutes waited over an hour and 20 minutes, in the cold rain. Ordered the vegan crepe with pb and banana. Pb and banana was fine, hard to mess up that part. The crepe was so incredibly dry and leathery. It also did not look like a white flour crepe, resembled a buckwheat flour. Absolutely do not recommend unless you plan on dragging your knife through the crepe 8 times just to cut it and drinking a gallon of water per bite. I ended up at moes after, starved for some good food.

Absolutely delicious and welcoming space in the heart of the American Tobacco Campus. So many flavors, something for everyone. I love the turkey and Brie crepe. Ive loved everything on the menu I’ve tried. Can’t wait for more creative crepes. Maybe cookie butter?

Amazing! Went for brunch with friends and everything tasted good. I personally got a crepe and cherry blossom latte and they both were delicious. Wait time is long though.

Great pour over coffee and crepes. Bring a friend the portions are large! Came back a second day. Coffee was great but the Avocado toast was bad. Way too much pepper. Big let down removing a star for that. It only tasted like pepper.

The atmosphere and vibe here is great! The music is a tad loud so if you work here make sure you can handle that.
Press has good coffee- as I hear from my wife. But I enjoyed the food there as well. The sandwich in my pictures was the “Carolina Rueben”. Toasted sourdough bread, and the spread balanced the corned beef perfectly. Then to top it off the tater tots were crispy, seasoned with some rosemary. I’d get that again.
The crepe was the Farmer’s Market Crepe. It just tasted clean and fresh- the crepe was pillowy, had just the right chew to it. My wife enjoyed it while I snuck a few bites of it. Loved the Pico de Gallo on it.
I thought the best part was the short conversation we had with the owner. Brett. He told us about how they started small in Graham and how it was just a plaything that turned into a real thing. He said everything they serve there is something he’d serve for family! Glad I could experience it- my wife and I have been back a good number of times just to work there, definitely recommend!

This was a beautiful and delicious dining experience. I'm putting it on my list of favorite restaurants in Durham. Their menu was wonderfully creative with so many appealing options. I was impressed with the herbs and flavor in the crepes themselves in addition to the fillings and toppings. My crepe was delicious and I can't wait to go back and taste some of the other specials that I missed. I also appreciated their excellence and attention to detail with the beverage service. Their customer service was outstanding. They got orders out quickly even though there was a long line. The staff was friendly and it was very clean. Here is my list of things about the decor that I appreciated: beautifully restored building, high ceilings, clean look, lots of natural light from the big windows, plants, great patio seating, with marble tables and a European cafe feel. I especially appreciate the high quality chairs they were unique and very comfortable with good back support. All of this is hard to accomplish in the restaurant industry and speaks volumes about their excellence in leadership and professionalism.
