Terrible. They fired their best barista, and during a time when all workers are at their most vulnerable. Save your time and money. Go somewhere else.

So the coffee is fine, but I walked in and it was a sea of maskless faces. While they have signage up that says you must be masked, there was no enforcement. For such a small place there were a lot of people crammed together and unmasked. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere for the remainder of the pandemic as a health precaution.

Ordered a caramel latte and breakfast sandwich. That siracha honey though! Great experience. Looking forward to coming back!

I had the overnight oats with fresh fruit. They paired it with a phenomenal coffee. Highly Recommend!

I had a wonderful chai tea drink; however, my friend tried to order a bagel with cashew cream cheese & jam with which we were quickly told they didn’t serve past 2pm. Yet, on the menu board AND printed menus, that was the one food item listed *until close*. Hope others have better luck with getting the food there!

Great service! Unique coffee experience in Durham as it has a Euro café vibe. Loved the healthier slant with fresh-pressed juices and not-too-sweet desserts! Great place to sit and chat with a friend or stand at the high bar - inside or out! Will most definitely be returning! Watch out Joe Van Gogh!

Brittany is an awesome person and bartender. I came in on Sunday morning to get some homework done and it was busy, so I went in to the attached room, which is great by the way for all my students and professionals to come in and get work done. I am a server, so I double-checked to make sure with Brittany that it was okay I sat at the bar for a while, I did not want to take up a spot where she could make money. She assured me that it was fine and made me feel comfortable and she also made sure I was set up with the wifi password. During a time right now when people are scrounging for money, especially in the serving industry, you could tell Brittany was more worried about making me feel comfortable than gaining money from me. People like Brittany give you hope in humanity again. I hope the shop actually reads these reviews and thanks Brittany for representing their company so well. This is my first time here, I usually go to Starbucks, but their inside seating is closed, and I will come back here from now on before I go to Starbucks again. Coffee is actually cheaper too.

This is a mighty expensive place to have to ask for napkins. Also my meal came with a fruit cup and no silverware. Sad face.

Edited review due to them laying off their best barista during a pandemic.
