My whole family loves going here! The coffee and baked goods are yummy and the service is always friendly and professional...

Terrible espresso. As seasoned espresso drinkers, we specifically Googled "espresso" along the I-95 on a roadtrip, to find a proper coffee, instead of the make-believe, Americanized versions you find in the easily-accessible Starbucks. After reading the glowing reviews on Google for "Inspirational Grounds", we were prepared to take this extra few minutes off the freeway on our quest for a decent brew.

Unfortunately, the coffee was far from inspirational. In fact, it was just plain awful. Coffee should be comsumed within two weeks of roasting, but this possessed a distinct stale flavor... and not just a little bit stale...but more in the realms of "oh-no-all-I-have-left-in-my- pantry-is-this-three-month-old-bag-of-beans". The barista really didn't know how to foam the milk either. The foam was full of large bubbles. It should look creamy, with virtually invisible bubbles.

I'd like to add here that I personally will "just drink" the coffee if it's average, while my husband is pretty fussy. Even I couldn't do it. It was that nasty.

The sad part is, they have enormous potential. Rancilio machine, nice warm atmosphere, friendly staff, very tasty treats and a clean rest room. If the owners could take on board the following constructive criticism, they'll draw coffee snobs off the freeway for sure: 1. Obtain freshly roasted beans and grind only just before use and WITHIN two weeks of roasting. It's fairly common to find shops with stale old beans sitting around in their hopper. Don't be this shop. 2. Train your barista.

Hopefully today was a one-off bad experience. If it's not and all of your positive reviews are from locals and you do improve the things I mentioned, your local customers will be in heaven!

Great coffee and great customer service. The treats made there are out of this world and they have keto treats as well...

Love the Zero Bar coffee, great service and the cozy atmosphere! Definitely my go-to place when I am in the area.

I love this shop it's improved a lot since I last went here and they still make amazing coffee and pastries. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys coffee and cakes.

This place is a Gem in Dunn. Really good coffee, flavored or regular and a huge veriety of baked goods, sit in or take out. We're from out of town but we always make at least 1 stop here. It's a must!

Everything we have tried has been delicious. We just had 2 dozen cupcakes made for a birthday party and they were very high quality homemade cupcakes. Definitely try the red velvet!

Locally owned and operated, Inspirational Grounds is well known in town serving a variety of hot and cold coffees and smoothies. Plus, a great choice of goodies from the bakery. If you're traveling through, it's well worth a detour.

Looked up nearby coffee shops and stopped in for a pick me up! Didn't regret it - got their caramel macchiato and it's the best I've ever had :) Owners seem very friendly and accommodating, atmosphere is quiet and laid back. Didn't get any of their baked goods but those looked great.
