Classic doughnuts and definitely worth getting some. The line moves fairly quickly.

Every year on vacation we go here for donuts to bring back and they're always warm and delicious. Never tough like when you let donuts sit overnight. 100% reccomend

We were at a food truck waiting for donuts in Mount Airy and it took them longer than 2 hours ... 2 HOURS ... waiting for donuts. I wanted to leave but my wife decided to wait.

I must say though, after eating the donuts, these were the best donuts I have ever had. It is not even close, by far the best donuts I have ever had.

So, I give them a 3. I give a 1 for a ridiculous wait. I give a 5 for ridiculously awesome donuts.

My daughter has severe nut allergies and it’s very hard to get her treats that are safe. I went into the store that day with no intentions of walking out with donuts for her. I placed my order and then happen to ask the polite man behind the counter if there was any chance that anything was safe for nut allergy people. He stated that the regular donuts were not due to cross-contamination with toppings, but offered to custom make her safe donuts that were cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar. I was so excited and surprised at the same time. He personally left the counter and went to make them for her. It made me SO happy that she was able to be a part of having “Duck Donut” in Duck, NC. He certainly made our day. Thank you!!!

This was a great experience! I bought a coffee (which I don't drink that often) and sat down with my family to eat the two dozen beautiful decorated... round things. Now I am staring at the boxes wondering what I have done?

First time in OBX. Had to stop by the original and it was well worth it. They did a great job with the Covid situation having people order from one side and wait outside for their order to be filled.

Bought 2 dozen doughnuts this time. We've ordered several times,! Never disappoints! Always fresh and hot, made to order.
Our favorites are the Maple and The Beach.
