Duck Donuts

Hot donuts made to order! Been hitting this spot for 8 years. It's worth the trip. There are a couple of franchises, but the one in Duck is the original! Order in the storefront on the left...grab a pad if you have a big order...they are very helpful. Had a cup of coffee this morning waiting on my donuts...delicious. Got Two dozen and had them home in time for breakfast!

Go here! The people working are awesome too! Smiling and helpful...but who wouldn't be happy working at a Donut shop! It's so full of warm cakey goodness!!!

It was my first time trying these donuts. Amazing. If you like funnel cakes then you will loves donuts.

Such a fun place to eat freshly made donuts! The kids loved watching the donuts get made and being able to customize donuts was amazing as well. On the west coast we often pay nearly $4 a donut so we were surprised at how reasonably priced these donuts seemed too. Being able to walk along the boardwalk by the water was a highlight of our trip to Duck as well.

Best donuts I’ve ever had. Warm donuts with a wide variety of toppings. Too many to choose, we asked for a variety box. Turned out to be the best choice!!

Amazing fresh to order donuts, the wait time was insane though. Over and hour and a half just to order then another hour and a half for our donuts to be ready. Staffing shortages have severely affected this business. Order ahead or be prepared for a multiple hour wait.

We’ve heard great things about this place and it is true, the donuts are fantastic! Freshly made and you can mix and match and create whatever donut your heart desires. I also ordered iced coffee and it was very good, one of the best iced coffees I’ve had. Only reason they didn’t get a 5 star was because the employees working the cash register were very rude and had an attitude. I came here twice and each time they were not pleasant. The first time they didn’t have iced coffee tops and when I asked if they had anymore I got scolded. The second time I came, as I walked up to the cash register she said what do you want? In a very rude tone. Listen, I work in retail so I understand the annoyance but you chose to work here. Although, the employees giving out the donuts were very friendly. There is always a line but I didn’t mind because it went by quickly and honestly worth the wait! Even though I didn’t have a good experience with the staff it still is a great place for donuts and coffee! Highly recommend this place!
