Clayton Bakery & Cafe

Stopped by coming from Raleigh, and I'm so glad I did. I purchased a small birthday cake, monster cookie, gingersnap cookie, strawberry cheese croissant, cherry turnover, and a buffalo chicken panini and everything was out of this world. The food was so delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful, and I should also mention patient as well. They were quick to answer all my questions. Will definitely be back.

Love the freshness and quality of the baked goods, and the quiche is my favorite item on the menu. Best breakfast spot in Clayton IMO.

What a wonderful little spot! Entered for coffee, which the Snickers latte was fantastic but after seeing all of the baked offerings I had to indulge! Pictured is the Raspberry cream cheese Brownie, an absolutely mouth watering delight - a raspberry puree between two Brownie pieces topped with a cream cheese frosting! YUM! Even better was the customer service. I love it when young people truly understand how to service others. It means they were trained well and this establishment did just that. Even though I live on the Cary side of Raleigh, I would make the drive there just to give this place business because they deserve it. You should too!

We only did a takeout order of some sweet pastries and quiche but the food was all INCREDIBLE and the service was speedy and polite! Looked like a great range of coffees too and will definitely be returning to dine in

Food and baked products are great but lack of signs with instructions and lack of common sence buy the way it is run shows an educated idiot is in charge

This place!!! 😍 the different options for coffee, tea and options for kid drinks is great. They have plenty to choice from for a sweet treat and fresh baked breads. I noticed the last time I was there they also do cakes and wedding cakes. Very clean, organized and staff always friendly even under heavy traffic.
