Malama Cafe

Definitely one of the healthiest options around. Enjoyed my Back to Cali wrap. Not the spot for your average breakfast, but lots of coffee and tea options.

The CB sandwich was AMAZING but I would not recommend the smoothie with turmeric - it was atrocious. Also had a chai latte that was more milky than anything but it still tasted good.

Such a cute cafe and really friendly staff! I had the BEST vanilla iced latte I’ve ever had (and I drink a lot of lattes!) and the açaí bowl was perfection and huge. I highly suggest popping in for breakfast or lunch! I may be going tomorrow morning too!

Service was friendly. Food was very good. We ordered the Mālama smash and the dragon fruit smoothie bowl. Very fresh. Reasonable prices. Will definitely come back when we are in Carolina Beach again.

Malama Cafe is such a hip little gem! Even though they opened not too long ago they have quickly become my “go to” coffee stop. The live plants and laid back bohemian/modern decor give it a fresh, up-to-date ambiance; and their coffee is always strong, consistent, and delicious. There is no other place like it on the island... if you’re in the area give it a try!

From the moment I walked in a few weeks ago for the first time, to today for the second time, it’s been the most energizing vibe, and the best food and drinks to feed that energy. Natalie and the owner create an instant rapport with the customer and talk about the food, and make the food, with pure love and passion. And the ice tea they make for me rocks my world. The breakfast type sandwiches are the best on the island. Different, drop dead delish, and you’re ready to tackle whatever faces you that day. And the prices are simply great for the sandwiches, which are top quality and unique and classic. Yum!

The girls up front present choices transparently and with pure love, and want you to feel the same way. Bottom line: great energy inside or outside, with luminous staff who are as top notch as the amazing food,

We stayed at Carolina Beach for 3 nights and came to Malama Cafe everyday for breakfast. The food, service, coffee, and atmosphere is awesome! Try the orange turmeric smoothie and I highly recommend the street toast. Thank you and we’ll be back!

Excellent! Quality baristas and delicious breakfast sandwich. My wife got the salmon cucumber toast which had a good portion of salmon and was really tasty.

Trendy bright vibes at this coffee shop. I love the name and the meaning behind it. I went twice while in CB. My chai latte was a little too sweet for my taste and my iced coffee a little too light as well but I can always ask for that to be adjusted next time. I just wanted to experience them without being a Starbucks customer lol. Hate I forgot to order the blueberry pie bread but that’ll give me a reason to go back. Give them a try the coffee taste great just order how you like it!
