Kovu's Coffee is an important and valuable resource to the High Country community. It is easy for a business in this town to have and sell a good product. It is possible for a business to have a great team that makes people feel welcome and appreciated. It is expected that a business has thought about their space long before the customer even arrives and how they can make it a memorable experience. However, here is the part of the formula where KC gets it right. KC is among a small group of businesses in town that have been able to seamlessly blend all those dynamics together.

KC is a special place with a great and wide ranging coffee shop menu. That have a friendly, caring, attentive, and hard-working staff. They have created a nice relaxing space where people are welcome and the sole goal is to just give you a great time. Sure you could get coffee or a snack at a lot of other places, but it will not be served by owners that just want to make your day a little better than it was.

Sean and Elise are a much needed energy in our community. Kovu's Coffee is a much needed anchor in our community. Think about what makes Boone memorable or why us locals live here? The reason is because of places like KC that nail gracious hospitality over and over like they were not even trying to do it. Their drinks and coffee are well crafted. The staff's coffee and tea knowledge is ever expanding and established. KC has meeting space, outdoor seating, study and chill space. They cater to any coffee shop need you might have and the ones you haven't even thought of yet.

There is so much that this business gets right, but there is so much more they learn daily. To then turn around and use that knowledge to tweak and improve the experience even more. Shop here with confidence and know that your time spent at KC will be worth more than just the drink you purchased.

Best coffee in town, a service with a smile. Nice and cozy you wouldn’t want to leave.

I saw there was a new coffee shop and decided to check it out—so glad I did!! The owners are the kindest people, the seating areas are perfect for relaxing or doing some work, and the coffee is great and reasonably priced! Try the orange latte, it’s my fave!!!! Well worth a visit :)

Mocha latte is rlly good, as are the chai lattes.
Nice spot, I like that their seating is in sections vs one big area. It feels like you have a private space to enjoy your food/drink.

There are babies in the wall. Squid daddy declares it, therefore it is law. I drink an ungodly amount of caffeine from this place and I have become a permanent fixture in the front room, my bones have left their indents.

Great coffee and ambience. Owners are very nice and friendly. Every time we are in Boone , we will stop by for coffee here.

I confess my experience was affected by the wait this Saturday mid-day. A group of four, followed by a double order, then me. The one employee was friendly but it definitely slowed things down. Maybe 20 minute wait? I suppose the nice young barista could have warned me about the wait (I came in after the 4 had ordered), or I could have realized after a few minutes the implications of only one employee. The latte was ok. I will say that the barista did make the drinks with attention and care, so it’s possible it was just an off experience. And the gathering spaces are nice.

Great coffee and nice staff. Probably the best coffee in Boone.

I love this coffee shop, great costumer service and their Matcha Latte is the best in town. ☺️

this is my safe place. matcha hits every time and the employees are top tier. my favorite place in boone <3
