I was introduced to Kovu by a friend, and it has quickly become my favorite coffee shop in Boone! The staff and owners take the time to learn your name and the coffee is always high quality. Such a cute spot to study, chat with friends, or get to know new people.

There is no other coffee shop I’d rather go to in Boone. The care that goes into the space, product, and service is evident, and it is a joy to interact with both the owners and employees. Whether you’re stopping in to grab something quickly, get some work done, or hang out, this is the place I’d point you to.

Finally made it to this wonderful coffee shop! My oat milk latte was amazing! The barista even added some cute latte art to my drink. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. 10/10 recommend.

A lovely couple running the place! Their Friendliness and bubbly personalities make it a comfortable and happy atmosphere. They have 3 separate rooms with comfy seating, and a whole room anyone can book for free to study in! Every time I’ve been in they guarantee a perfect drink or they’ll remake it. Definitely something that makes you want to come back! They’re affordable, local and have the BEST espresso, 5 stars all around!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! My husband and I always make it a point to check out local coffee shops when traveling, and this could be the best one yet! From the delicious coffee to the inviting atmosphere, and the wonderful owners this place is a true gem! If you come to boone, make sure you stop here, you won't regret it!

I started coming here a couple months ago and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the coffee, dogs, people, and study sessions. Quiet enough to work but spaced out far enough from others to have private conversations. And bonus, Sean opens at 5am every day so even on very early mornings I know I will have somewhere to go do schoolwork and sip my coffee. Whether you're looking for a place to catch up with a friend or grind on finals, Kovu's has you covered. Thanks to Sean and Elise for making this place possible.
