Hands down one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had! Joe always provides quality customer service and serves his product with friendly demeanor. This shop is a essential if you’re in the Black Mountain area!

I had a great experience at cup of jomo! Not only was the coffee delicious and Joe extremely friendly, he helped me craft a sugar-free version of the miél, one of the most popular menu items. The outdoor setting was inviting and convenient in location to other attractions in downtown Black Mountain.

THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! This is the coffee black Mountain has been waiting for! Joseph is awesome and so kind. The coffee beans are roasted SO well, not burnt at all. I got the Cafe Meil as an iced breve and I would get that drink every day forever. 10/10 recommend! And the location is an AWESOME spot to meet up with peeps or study and hang!

I was anxious to try this spot after a friend recommended it yesterday. I stopped by this afternoon and was warmly greeted by Joe. My cold brew was delicious and he was kind enough to ask if the amount of half and half he put in looked like enough. Do stop in and meet this friendly barista with a terrific personality! Thank you, Joe ! Looking forward to my next visit.

Joe serves an excellent cup of coffee (and some pretty popular teas from what I've observed) and fuses barista with that friendly bartender personality while doing so. Location is great inside the inside-out center of the Black Mountain Gear Collective, with parking for bikes. Great addition to the coffee spots in town. Cafe Miel with cinnamon and honey is excellent.

A new favorite in Black Mountain! Joe loves what he does and it's apparent in the thoughtfully crafted, delicious drinks he makes! I've tried several drinks on the menu and LOVED them all. A great coffee shop in a fun location. Go check it out!

Absolutely delicious. Really cool place as well. I do wish there were some food options because it seems like it would be a really good place to hang out. I actually wish there were a place like this where I live. We had both a coffee and a chai tea, and my wife said that it was the best chai of all the places we tried in Black Mountain.

I Appreciated the owner telling me about his arrangement with the outdoor merchandise store and the beer garden over their shared space. Already a worthwhile destination, he still has plans for future improvements. I look forward to seeing their progress whenever I return to Black Mountain.

I live locally and this has become my go-to coffee shop for many reasons: consistently great coffee, Joe is knowledgable and accommodating,
right in town, and parking is so easy, even in the afternoon. The other two might be more popular, but this shop is quickly nipping at their heels.
