The Times Bar & Coffee Shop

This beautiful bar is located in the heart of downtown Asheville and had a very chill but classy atmosphere. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the bartender and he was very knowledgeable with cocktail recipes. As I was enjoying my nightcap, I noticed the bartender help other customers quickly and was very patient (great service skills). So if you're ever in the downtown area and wanted a place to enjoy some high end spirits, then I would definitely recommend this venue.

I never bother with reviews but this place was so incredible I have to, the service is incredibly friendly and like having your own personal bartender. I've honestly never had a cocktail this incredible before, and especially not from such a clean and friendly environment. 100/10 have to recommend. Jay and Ashely are spectacular hosts, and a shining example of their trade

Great little spot, glad we discovered it. My cardacoco latte was great. Awesome style and atmosphere to the place, staff was very friendly. DoughP maple donut was excellent of course. Would come again, seems like it would be an excellent evening spot for cocktails as well.

Great classy yet cozy place to grab a cocktail! The staff really knows their alcohol and the space is gorgeous. Definitely stop in if you're in town!

Got to love a place like this. Ambiance is incredible drinks are great give it a try either before or after or skip dinner and have drinks.

Since their opening The Times has quickly become my favorite cocktail bar in Asheville. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their drink menu is well put together with excellent original cocktails and great takes on classics as well. The bartenders are also happy to make you a custom cocktail or make a suggestion for a drink you would enjoy. Their selection of liquors is also very impressive and they usually have a special for which they take a high dollar bottle which might be out of most peoples' usual price range and sell it at cost to enable customers to try an excellent liquor at a good deal.

Inside this place is beautiful tall library shelves draw your attention upwards to the high ceilings. I would say that despite being a small place the tall ceilings make it feel grander. Had several cocktails and recommend the place for anyone visiting the area, or in search of a good cocktail.

Perfect night warming up with a Hot Toddy. The Times is a visual delight with tasty drinks a lovely service.

Atmosphere is cool. Drinks were great!
