A unique quaint cozy coffee house and cafe. From the latte art to the food, it was incredible. The homemade jam was AMAZING. Two different patios to sit outdoors. Highly recommend!

Fun menu and the coffee was fantastic! Glad we stopped by 🪷

Great coffee!! The brioche on the sandwich was a bit dry and the food was pricey but fresh

PROS: Friendly barista who took order for me and gf. Good food. Nice ambiance.
CONS: Asked for to-go box at end of meal. Put half of our food in it. Got up from table for a minute to go to bathroom, and bus person threw away to-go box after we had just requested it! When asked what happened to our takeaway food, bus person dismissively said sorry and didn't offer to replace (she was young, seemed inexperienced). So we wrote mgmt a direct email to give them friendly feedback, never heard back. Otherwise would have given 4 to 5 stars if we had gotten a helpful response. With how expensive food is nowadars, and Asheville being soo pricey, we weren't pleased :(

Had a delicious and unique sourdough pancake. Their outdoor space is adorable. Definitely worth a visit! It was even busy on a weekday and I had to park down the street since they don't have a lot.

Great coffee quality and friendly staff. Some food & drink items felt really overpriced. Couldn’t afford for this to be a regular stop but I guess it’s downtown Asheville.

Best breakfast I have had since visiting Asheville these last 15 years. You sit in this amazing garden with thick old trees. Food was fantastic! I think the best scones I have had on this side of the Atlantic. The pancakes were tasty and cooked a way I have never had.
I highly recommend!

Liberty House Cafe is a tried and true favorite of mine, and one which I believe everyone should experience while in Asheville. Their menu changes based on weekdays and weekends, and they often have interesting daily specials, one of which I tried today.

Bipbimbap, a welcomed departure from standard breakfast fare. Full of Korean flavors, the dish is bright and spicy with fresh radish, cucumber, pickled green bean, scallion, bean sprouts, and kimchee over a bed of jasmine rice with steak and sunny side up egg. Black sesame adds a pleasant toasted flavor. The steak was unevenly cut and therefore over cooked in parts. The rice had started to dehydrate in the rice cooker, and the green beans were a bit over vinegared. The albumin of the egg had raw spots and the kimchi tasted like a standard one would find at H-mart.
The mixture of ingredients came together with a moderate amount of heat and a distinctive Korean vibe from the gochujang, which made it— in whole, once mixed— pleasant and satisfying, if not unique at all.

I love this place! Local favorite. They have outdoor heaters for the patio.

A favorite of locals, tourists, bears, Subaru drivers, scuba divers and investment advisers.
Best coffee drinks. Best breakfast hands down. Lots of seating. World's best staff.
