Just went out the doors 12 minutes ago and it was amazing and fast coffee. Honestly have no idea how they made 3 different coffees under 2 minutes. I've been to many local coffee shops in Ohio and this has been best.
I wouldn't say the barista was nice but that doesn't make her mean; she was very quick and efficient and spoke in a way that made it easy to understand. 5/5 would get coffee here again.

We are asheville locals born and raise and we try to avoid this location because of the barista Anissa. Whenever we come in several times she makes it a point to avoid serving us if she can help it or if there is a line she makes everyone’s drink first that was behind us. We love this business and want to keep supporting the locals but we honestly don’t know what we’ve done to make her single us out. I see on here that we’re not the only ones who have been through this. Love the coffee and business but will stick to the downtown location.

A coffee and some pastry. Calm and relaxed people reading and computing. Recommended

I've tried contacting them multiple times on different platforms about my bad experience and they've ignored me.
Me and my husband ordered mochas saturday as we passed through asheville. Our coffee was so horribly sour- it almost tasted like it had citric acid in them. When we looked in the cups they looked like watered down coffee with a little bit of cream. We just threw away both drinks, we won't be back.
When we contacted them it was just to inform them that their drinks weren't being made right. We had no expectation of anything in return since we don't live anywhere near there, but apparently their customer service is just as bad as their coffee.

I just got a maté latte and bagel, on a beautiful Sunday morning. Barista was super friendly and relatively fast, given there was a long line.

This is one of my favorite coffee spots! They have nice outdoor space and rotating art inside, and Anisa is one of the best baristas I know, they are always super sweet and helpful and their recipes are amazing. Definitely recommend!

Anisa is a great barista and their ability to handle giant lines of demanding customers should be fully applauded. The coffee and bagels are what initially brought me in, Anisa is why my wife and I have a regular weekend visit! Sweet service, delicious coffee and the art is always incredible and interesting. Thank you for brightening every weekend for us!!

Great coffee, too bad about the unfriendly folks who work there. I've gone there for years because of the excellent coffee, but I've been amazed at how terrible the service has always been. I've seen smiling happy people come up to the counter, and leave scowling, grumbling and vowing to never come back. I've apologized for it on a number of occasions, telling folks that most places in Asheville have much nicer staff. And that is true. It used to be a joke about how bad the service is in this tourist town,. However, in the last few years, t seems a number of places have realized that its better for their business to treat the folks who spend their money there at least civilly, if not kindly. I remember sitting at a table and seeing several folks in a row be mistreated, and then one of the owners came in, and the young woman who was behind the counter suddenly started smiling and being very friendly to the customers who came up to the counter. So, it is possible to be decent, but only if supervised. Its a shame. I'm done, Odd's Cafe up the street is so much nicer, and I'll miss the Blanchard's beans that Izzy's brews, but its not worth it to go there anymore. Sad.
