High Five Coffee

Coffee was good, cookie was as well. They were out of chocolate chip scones, seems the reason was how good they probably were.

Maybe I ordered the wrong things, but I wasn't impressed with the chai latte and my muffin had a hair in it. My partner ordered the egg and cheese biscuit, and that was bland as well. Stars for the cute vibe and the friendly staff.

My wife and I stopped in here over the weekend because of the good reviews. We both ordered iced chai lattes. Not terrible, but not great. Kinda watery and bland. Also, I was up-charged for light ice. That is something I’ve never seen before, and the guy taking our order probably should’ve mentioned it. When you’re spending almost 10 bucks on two mediocre drinks, the nickel-and-diming becomes extra annoying.

Some of the beat coffee in Asheville. Their Cubano is one of my favorite coffee drinks ever. And their staff is always super nice.

Coffee is REALLY good ☕️! I see why they are consistently ranked one of the best coffee shops in Asheville❣️ I was disappointed in their pastry selection though. I stopped by for some coffee and hopefully a slice of pumpkin bread or muffin to go, but didn’t see anything I liked. They do have sandwich’s and stuff but I had a hankering for something sweet and filling and just didn’t find it in what they had available.

The staff is great though and I’m happy they have pumpkin spice lattes with their original yummy offerings like lavender lattes. Good location, and you get a discount for bringing your own mug 💝

60 percent of the drink is ice! Ordered a 10oz latte with no ice and received 4oz of the drink. When you are paying over 7 dollars for 10oz latte you would expect 10oz of latte regardless of ice or no ice.

I went here with my wife. She had a macchiato and I had a cortada. The atmosphere was nice, the workers were friendly, and the coffee was amazing. They had different options of fresh coffee for pour over options, I believe I saw a counter culture blend and a single other from them. The espresso was a delight. I'm not used to having such fresh coffee from a shop in my home town, so this was a delight!

What an awesome shop. Loved both the people and service! Definitely a place to make a regular coffee stop.
