We met friends here for lunch. We arrived early (11:15) and there were several people in line ahead of us ordering at the counter, which is how it works. We were seated in the light infused front room dining area in very pleasant surroundings. Our food arrived quickly and everything was delicious. Nice presentation on little wooden trays although our small table could not accommodate all the trays so the waitperson took them away. It was a nice touch though.
As vegans we enjoy having many menu options and Dobra Tea met that need. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Dobra Tea is a unique tea house with delicious drinks for both casuals and tea aficionados. This is the best tea house serving authentic full-leaf teas I have found in ages! We visit often and enjoy the amazingly curated menu and drink selection. A special mention goes to the vegan cheese plate, which changes seasonally and is always fantastic every time we order. We love how the cuisine at Dobra reflects the many different regions where its tea is grown. Our absolute favorite drink is the "blue magic" - this brew is so unique, it's hard to find anything similar at any other place. Finally, we adore the rotation of vegan deserts. Dobra tea west has a beautiful atmosphere and stunning collection of diverse teas and dishes - we can't recommend this restaurant enough - it is a West Asheville must-visit!

This is the coolest tea house I’ve ever been to in the US. The menu is HUGE and there are a lot of unique teas I’ve never seen anywhere else, such as green teas from Vietnam and Korea, and interesting special house blends. The food was amazing too, though somewhat expensive for the portion sizes. All of the tea utensils and dishes are beautifully presented, and the decor includes photos and paintings of tea professionals from various Asian origins — an ode to the very people who have given us tea.

Dobra Tea presented us with an authentic tea experience right in the heart of Asheville! Their presentation was immaculate and made tea drinking (on the floor) feel like a real experience. The gluten-free and vegan soups, snacks and sandwiches were light yet refreshing. These people know their tea!!

Food and flavors were delicious -staff was kinda aloof (hostess was friendly enough) however with a 45 minute wait I waited 10-12 minutes for hostess to “finish her conversation” before being able to place order even after mentioning I needed to order as we paid for parking and with 45 minute wait were hungry. She made it clear she was going to finish her conversation by ignoring me pretty much and had to wait to order but that being said she did take her time with my questions on recommendations so I think it is part of the “company culture” and we had a wonderful experience afterwards as food was great. Desserts, food, teas were all top notch. I was especially impressed with the desserts being completely free from any cane sugar in any form and instead using dates and maple syrup like we do at home! Hubby is a vegan chef… Highly recommend if you’re not in a hurry and can overlook the above.

What a gem! The vibe of this place is one of a kind. The tea selection is insane. The girl at the register was super nice and helped pick out a tea. As someone who loves trying new tea’s this is the perfect place. This would be great for a solo traveler or even with a group of friends who enjoy tea and great atmospheres. The highlight of this place is the space to sit on the yoga bolsters in a group setting. Definitely a new Asheville Fav!

The most peaceful place ever. Stopped here for a matcha latte (the only good one in Asheville) and yerba mate and they were both delicious. Not to mention you zen out just by being in the place. If I were a local, this would be my go to place on daily basis. Much love!

I really enjoy the downtown location, I go frequently!
I finally tried the west location and the space is cool, lots of options for comfortable seating, and of course got my favorite tea. It was less than relaxing here today, sadly, from the time I ordered to when I was done with my pot of tea, the rock music of a wailing electric guitar played for my whole stay.
It was tough, (there’s nothing wrong with rock music) I just wanted to relax as this is a tea cafe, so I rushed drinking my tea so I could leave. I’ve never experienced that at the other location, when you can even hear the music, it’s soft and is relaxing.
I’ll just stick to going to the downtown location since it usually promotes relaxation.

Nice place to sit and chat with friends while enjoying a huge variety of drinks. My bf got the mint tea and it was so much he had to get a second glass so he could share.

TRASH boba. Do not get boba here!!! Got the golden milk, and it tasted like nothing. The tapioca balls were undercooked crunchy in texture and tasted very bland.
