City Bakery

Went here to get a biscuit because it's the only place on this side of town I know of to get a biscuit. We waited in line for 20 min only to be told they were out of biscuits. Most descent cafés will put a sign up or something when they are out of an item, not here though. I will not be back because of the severe lack of communication, which is a shame because I did like their biscuits.

Didn't eat anything but food looked amazing. The coffee was wonderful and it is a very nice and comfortable surrounding. Not sure how that *bucks place down the street stays in business.

This place went above and beyond Saturday morning. I ordered a cake for Sunday morning for my wife's 60th birthday. The cake was way more than I expected. The price was right and they delivered it on time Sunday morning to the restaurant.

Helpful service. Very good coffee. Good breakfast joint.

They're back! Saturday morning with my pals, coffee, pastry, and a loaf of bread to go. Nice folks and there is also limited outdoor seating.

Excellent local place for coffee and treats. Great and quiet atmosphere.

Ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast Sandwich & the Smoked Trout Plate. The prices are extremely reasonable for Asheville. Delicious. No problem finding place to park.

Let's see where do I begin..my fault for showing up late for breakfast...No Eggs For You!!! Counter lady was certain to make sure I understood that.
So my wife got a chai shot and a sticky buns.
Shot was very good. The bun was very syale, no nuts. Yuchh.

Great food! Great people! They have sustained us through the craziness of the last 15 mos. (And they have the CRISPIEST bacon, ever!!!!!). 👏🙏❤️

We live in the neighborhood and love the food. The coffee is still my favorite in town, love an iced vanilla latte!
