Neat old building redo with great atmosphere! Authentic Italian food, nicely presented. Popular spot, and much needed in area. Owners are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Always a special treat to eat there. Would highly recommend it.

What a surprise! We were totally in awe of the quality, flavor, service and choices. We throughly enjoyed our experience!

Very nice place to eat!

I've had the food go back and forth here, my last visit was terrific. They do well on some dishes sometimes and they hit it out of the park when they get it right. I've had some terrible Alfredo, once I asked for more spice in their New Orleans French Cajun Pasta dish and it got loaded up with a very salty spice mix. Sure it was hotter but the salt was unbearable. If you go and they get it right you'll love it.

Good food, good service, on a busy night its loud the building acoustics are just that way and can make it hard to hear at your own table

Delicious food that is reasonably priced. Fast & friendly service, and great atmosphere. Will definitely be going back again!

Whenever I visit family in Central PA we make the trek across the NY border to go eat at L'Italia. The service is good but could be improved. Ambiance is simple, comfortable and interesting. The food is good, especially the pizzas and pastas.

Let's see. I come to Wellsville once a year at the most. I had been in this place 2 years ago and I knew it wouldn't be awesome, but at least would be satisfying. Not this time. I went with my family in law, the dinner was on my husband and me; we wanted to thank them for their hospitality. My husband and I shared a pizza, his mother and grandma had a burger each, and his dad a sandwich. The fries came strangely burnt. They were at the same time soft and burnt. We thought they were sweet potatoes, but nope, they tasted to burnt oil. That could be just a bad time, they had a party on the other table so the waitress was a little very busy. However when we asked him about the state of the fries his answer was: " oh... They are not that bad, are they? I like'em like that". Ok, I cannot be given the responsability of asking or not for decent fries, he should have brought them directly new, without making us feel bad if asking. Then I discovered a big, wide, black hair in my pizza. Inside the cheese, so I knew it wasnt mine. It had been cooked inside. Since we were with out family we did not want to make a scene there. We just paid, tipped 15% (which we regret) and leave smiling to the waiter, which apologized with a smile for the fries (ok, they were uneatable, stop apologizing, you should have brought a new plate of them). We run into the cook in the door, so we knew the hair was his since he was wearing not hairweb and his hair color matched. I did not need to see whose hair was in my food. I won't come back, because apparently not having competition makes restaurants stop even trying.

My husband and I had a delicious meal in an upscale environment. The service was exceptionally friendly and excellent. We will return soon and invite family and friends to experience this with us! Susan K.

Had a party of roughly 40 in the upstairs dining room. Management knew we were coming for weeks. They assigned one server, and she struggled, big time. The poor thing had no support from downstairs. She was comping checks left and right and was boxing up food straight from the kitchen. I know he's well-regarded in the community, but the owner and his wife were downstairs knocking back glasses of wine in the bar the whole time. When I say she had no support, it's the truth, and when I confronted Pete about it, all I got was a few excuses, an eye roll from Marlee, and a "she is properly trained." I asked him one last time to acknowledge she needed massive help, and he just walked away. Don't get too comfortable, because people WILL catch on to the attitude, sir.
