Silverlake Family Restaurant

Terrible service. Had to constantly ask for 1 or more food orders, napkins, refills. Drove 5 hours from Pennsylvania to put flowers on Graves. Will not eat there again. Never asked about service. Appeared as if chaotic. Clearly wouldn't be acceptable in State College. My daughter left a review and nothing.

Stopped here while traveling through this town. Husband and I got breakfast and the grandkids got lunch at around 11. All loved their food and prices were good and service was great. I'd highly recommend.

Nice place, good food. Short staffed, so a little wait, but we didn't mind. Our waitress was great!

Great food, staff and overall experience. Was at Hidden Valley Animal Safari and went here for dinner after. I had the bacon burger (AMAZING). Also had the combo platter and order of fingers. Will definitely be back again!

Discovered this hidden gem traversing through small town USA. Fantastic food, great staff, excellent service with an extensive menu. Highly recommended.

Ok food. But lousy service. Had chicken finger salad that was just blah. Wife got tomatoes in her taco salad even though she asked for no tomatoes. Maybe if the waitress would write the order down she wouldn't mess it up. Got no napkins and attitude when asked for some. Waitress keep disappearing and didn't check on us.

Wish I could give it 0 stars. We were told to seat ourself and we sat patiently for 30 minutes while entertaining a hungry toddler. We ended up leaving without being acknowledged as multiple tables sat after us and got service right away. It was not a busy time of day! Looking at other reviews, it looks like we dodged a bullet with the food. Thanks horrible service for saving us from the food.

We were passing through on the way to the big apple while vacationing from Michigan. Great food, great service, clean. Menu has breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Home cooked food with salad bar. Highly recommend. Family friendly

After standing there for 5 minutes was finally seated then had to sit there for 15 minutes before they even came to take my drink order at that point we left because we were trying to catch a movie not sit there all day

****Update 98% of the restaurants I go to ask me for drinks as soon as I'm seated then they do the allotted 8 minutes to come back for your dinner or lunch order but thank you for correcting me 15 minutes 8 minutes sure seems like closer to 15 minutes to me but thank you for pointing that out if I was incorrect about how long I had to sit there before you even came to offer drinks and no it was not as busy as you claimed it was there was five Empty Tables you set three Empty Tables after you set my table. A lie all you want facts are facts no I will not be back since you couldn't just apologize and I will definitely let anybody and everybody I know not to go out of their way to go there and by the way that button that was on the table my daughter pressed 3 times and I told her to stop pressing it because she pressed it three times don't tell me you respond to that you liar

We were seated then "forgotten" by TWO waitresses on a slow Sunday morning with only 1/2 a dining room (they spent more time behind the buffet area then in the dining area) then politely waited over 55 min. for our cold, burned breakfast, which was missing items, then had to wait 20 minutes for our waitress to finally come back around and bring us the receipt, we were never were given refills, asked how our meal was etc) While waiting for our food, another customer asked if his table should order lunch while waiting for their breakfast. We had a similar experience the Sunday prior, but thought we would give it another chance...very disappointing for our family as we have ordered out and dined in before and never had this type of experience or issues.
