Delicious food and friendly staff. The owner clearly knows his stuff - the Bacon Blue chicken salad is incredible... Chicken cooked fresh and the blue cheese is like something you'd eat by itself with a bottle of wine. Their rotating special Latte offerings keep things interesting too. Worth the price and worth the time ... A great asset for Voorheesville.
Speaking on behalf of the loons of Voorheesville, I couldn’t be happier to have Cullen’s in the village. Great spot and atmosphere with incredibly friendly and staff. Mike makes food that knocks it out of the park every single time, and really cares about the experience of every customer. Thanks for bringing a wonderful place close to home, we’re better off with you here.
Cullen’s Coffee & Cafe nestled in the small town of Voorheesville. A place where your first name will be remembered. From the time of order, to the first sip. You feel welcomed. I tired a West Coast Latte with oat milk. (honey, salted caramel, vanilla, espresso) Absolutely delicious. Smooth not to sweet. The atmosphere is pleasant. Small but open store front. Enough to accommodate a few chairs and tables. Outdoor seating available. Overall a 5-star experience.
Just a thought for the owner: Good: Beautifully done chalkboard menus give a sense of local independence. Bad: Digital signage in a small down coffee shop takes away the escape from corporate America.
This place won’t last long… just another hipster over priced coffee place… wanna be starbucks… coffee tastes like it was brewed through a dirty gym sock, expensive garbage food and hipster atmosphere… maybe the loons of voorhesville like it but I wouldn’t stop here twice.
Cute place, will come back again. But a few suggestions. Always have drip coffee ready. You could have customers out the door much faster if you didn't have to make it. Put lids out for customers to put on themselves, no one wants other hands touching their lids. Label the milk that you have out; customers should know what they are adding to their coffee. And keep those cookies just as they are, delicious.
I've been wanting to try Crowing Hen for a long time and was excited for the opportunity. Staff was incredibly rude and we won't be back. I 100 percent understand that everyone has bad days, but I've heard from many people that this is a common occurrence. My husband works down the street and no one there will go because of how they're treated. I love visiting local coffee shops and make an effort to find them whenever we go away. I've been in many places with lines out the door and have never been given eye rolls or told "it's on the menu, if you'd just look" before. Again, we all have bad days, but from what I've heard this seems to be the atmosphere being cultivated here. Not for me.
Cinnamon bun was delicious and their oatmeal cookie coffee was exactly what I was looking for. Great mix of sweetness and still taste the coffee! Also super cute cafe!
Amazing coffee drinks....hot and cold lattes, teas Chai. Hand rolled bagels with fresh whipped cream cheese in multiple flavors...egg sandwiches and breakfast panninis. That's just breakfast!! If you haven't been, run! Weekends are insane!!

Mike knows my coffee order as soon as we show up. The sandwiches and bagels are delicious. I wish them well in their new Voorheesville location.
