Excellent cafe! The shop has a great feel and smells amazing! It took me a while to actually go in because I'm not a huge coffee drinker but their coffee is very good and their lemonade drinks are great for beating the summer heat! Laurie and Nick are more like hosts than baristas but do a great job as both! Definitely will return whenever I'm in the area!

My favorite coffee roaster in town! The people are SO nice here, from the front end staff to the roaster to the owner. I buy my supplies here, too - French press, grinder, etc. They really know their beans and ALL about coffee, and willing to share the knowledge. Fun specials, too!

Wonderful coffee, tons of different flavors and blends available for home brewing. Really really sweet staff, extremely welcoming and helpful. Try them out if you are in the area and need a good cup of coffee!

This place is great! Owners and staff are always friendly and attentive. Their coffee is delicious and the only kind we use in our house. We have tried many of their different beans, including flavored, and truly love the Breakfast Blend and the Brazilian Full City Roast. This is a difficult time for everyone, please consider buying local when you need coffee (don't buy it from the big chain stores), support the small businesses if you can and visit Union Place Coffee Roasters!

My husband and I have been going to Union Place since it opened. We love buying our coffee local and freshly roasted. The flavored coffee beans are our favorite and there is always a variety in stock. A fresh cup of coffee is always offered to go. I recommend them to anyone who loves coffee. If I could give more stars I would!

I've never actually been to the location yet. I live a couple hours away but i was online searching for local coffee roasters and i found Union Place online and I had to try them! So I picked out a bag just to give them a try. I ordered a bag of Jamaican Me Crazy and within a few days of placing my order there was a package delivered on my steps. Now I wasn't expecting my coffee to come so quickly so I was pleasantly surprised. The box was bigger than i was anticipating since I only ordered one bag of coffee. I opened the box to find a hand written note inside thanking me for my order and to say they gave me a free bag of coffee. They included a second pound of coffee for free! I've gotten samples from other places before but never a full bag and the shipping speed was amazing. I'm brewing a pot of coffee right now so I can't comment on the taste yet but it sure smells amazing! Thank you! I already know I'll be ordering more and hopefully in the future I'll be able to visit your location in Rochester.

My son and I have shopped at the store numerous times. We were always greeted with a smile and an offer of coffee. We are always satisfied and will continue to to shop there as well as passing the joys in the store to our friends. I placed an order on line due to the corona restrictions. It arrived in a timely fashion and with a hand written note explaining why one of the coffees I ordered was not received, it was out of stock. Instead 2 additional coffees where sent in it's place. How consumer friendly is that. The only thing is I ordered whole bean and got ground. However, that will not stop me from shopping there in the future. Good coffee is hard to find and this establishment is a hidden gem.

By far the best chocolate espresso beans I've ever had! Usually, chocolate espresso beans you can buy in the store have grinded beans in it but this one has a full bold crunchy bean which is really good! We even had to buy another one before going back to the road. Thank you too for the very kind Lori who attended to us.

My husband,and I had the best cup of house brew coffee today. We were happy to find this gem as we were driving along. Lori was a breathe of fresh air as she took the time to explain the roasting process, also the various blends. We are making this our go to spot for our coffee needs. The establishment has a relaxing vibe that was quite welcoming. We look forward to trying the other blends that are offered there as well.
