Southdown Coffee - Port Jefferson

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. I have been a few times already and the staff have been really nice and pleasant.

It's definitely nice to have a locally owned coffee shop around that I can visit over Starbucks. They also have a nice food selection.

Glad Southdown opened in Port Jeff and now in Patchogue! I really enjoy their cold brew and lattes and the few baked snacks I've tried have been very tasty. Best coffee spot in Port Jeff by far!

Delicious!! So excited to have a new coffee place in town. I got an iced mocha oat milk latte and a zucchini bread. Everything was yummy!

Great place, friendly staff and nice location. My only gripe is that the seating is sadly really...bad. There's one long wooden bench that kills your back with 4 tables along it and around 2 other tables with 2 seats each with equally uncomfortable chairs. I would love to be able to sit down in a cozy coffee shop while it rains and make some Chat with people, but like I said while the staff are fantastic and coffee/food is great the interior design is uncomfortable and somewhat cold/uninviting. Like the businesses response says to another person's review that's their aesthetic and for ease of cleaning though at least some easy clean cushions on the bench would be nice, could use some vinyl covers for ease of cleaning if that's a big concern. Also every coffee house needs a couch 😅

Excellent small menu too bad is only a little batch prepared. You need to arrive early, I mean before 8 am on weekends. They coffee was not to my liking but I have a particular taste for it, I don't like Starbucks, if you do, you'll like it.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee, the taste was delicious. They also sell plenty of items to have with your coffee.

Excellent in both coffee and baked goods. had the polenta and olive cake and it was baked perfectly. the coffee was fresh and hot. love supporting local business instead of the big chains. check them out you will not be dissapointed

Stumbled upon this place a couple days ago, and have been back twice already! Awesome staff and coffee. Just tried their breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! Hoping another location opens out east closer to me in the near future! Highly recommend for anyone who hasn’t been here yet!

Southdown has it all—knowledgeable baristas, expertly roasted beans, an awesome pour over bar, great food and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating! This is my new favorite go-to coffee spot! 10/10 recommend! 💯
