Amazing!! Went three days in a row the last time we visited Lake Placid, tried almost everything, every bite deserved to be savored slowly! Authentic, delightful pastry. We were so sad that they weren’t open this time we visited!

I had high hopes for this place being in the location they are at, but the blueberry muffins were dry and had no flavor and overpriced. The latte was bland and overpriced. I love to support local businesses but my next trip to Lake Placid I will be going somewhere else for my coffee and pastries.

Amazingly awesome bakery, words can’t describe how delicious everything I ordered was. If I had to pick one it would be the Linzer Tarts, totally outstanding to say the least. Promise you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

A fantastic selection of pastries and baked goods. The almond croissant and apple strudel were great. They were so friendly and gave my dog a homemade dog biscuit- very sweet of them!

The bacon egg and cheese pastry was to die for!! Probably the best breakfast item I have ever eaten! The apple strudel was very yummy, pecan tart was great, and coffee was very good too. Seriously, get one of the egg and cheese pastries, you won't be disappointed.

While on vacation at Lake Placid, we were pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful European style bakery. The owner is very friendly and her croissants, scones and other baked goods were fantastic. I've eaten the same quality baked goods in patisseries in France and in England so I loved that her baked goods are so comparable. Excellent pricing as well for the quality and quantity!

Called to ask if they carried vegan cakes or cupcakes and we were met with a snappy “I don’t take special orders” response when we just wanted to know if anything was available that was already made. We were quite taken aback. Rude!

Customer service - one star.
Food - we don’t plan to ever find out.

This review is based on a one time phone conversation and not a review of their products in store.

Amazing bakery. The daily items from the counter and special orders are similarly delicious. When peaches are in season, ask the baker to make a peaches and pecan pie for you. Really fantastic!

Amazing little bakery. I must stop in Lake Placid. Get there early and grab a breakfast sandwich. Amazing.

Older lady with the white hair was pleasant but the other lady with the brownish hair was grumpy. First impressions especially at 8:30am really does matter -- you're serving a customer his first meal and coffee of the day and know that your tone and demeanor can affect others. Coffee she made was good, I asked for a Quadruple Shot Maple Vanilla Almond Latte. The Sour Cream Coffee Cake was fine too, and my mom seems to like the Spinach & Feta pastry.

Maybe it's a Lake Placid culture and they're just fine with that, or maybe it's the mask (?), but part of me is worried that she's not the nicest to customers who are POC. Oh well. 🤷🏻‍♂️
