Was going great until we sit down with my pregnant fiancé at the window where the door is so you can view out to the road side and a lady comes from behind the counter and opens the door we are sitting there eating warm food at this point now freezing with the temperature at 7° today I think it’s a bit absurd and rude to not consider somebody is sitting right in front of that freezing cold door you just opened I don’t really care of the reason we are customer we paid we should not be sitting in front of the door somebody opens in the middle of winter 7° coldest day this year I won’t be back!

Big menu for a fairly small space, great beer and kombucha bar, nice service, and terrific decor and seating. Can't wait for the fresh glue smell to disappear.

Ordered some sort of rare roast beef panini this evening but instead waited twenty minutes for a hot gristle and cheese. Managed to choke down some of the greasy, overcooked meat but had to spit out nearly half of it which couldn't be chewed into some bushes. No way that roast should have been gone anywhere but the trash or maybe given to a dog.
Edit: The Aurora St. location, between 3:30 and 6. Gee thanks for offering a refund, Travis.

The quality of the breakfast you get at CTB is fantastic. They will make any changes you want to your order! Definitely come for breakfast - a must have for anyone visiting Ithaca.

I fell into the hype. This is a destination bagelry due to its cult following, but not the best bagel sandwiches i have had. I like robust flavors but their breakfast sandwich fell flat to me. I would try again, but round 1 did not impress me.

Comfortable seating with good WiFi. Large menu. Baked goods are delicious. Stick to what you know you like on the menu, or keep it simple. Experimentation can lead to overpriced disappointment.

Great bagels, always enjoy the Denver on a long island

The bagel market is monopolized by Ithaca Bakery in Ithaca. For being used to a New York selection of stores, this can be frustrating but there is some worthwhile dough! My favorite bagel is the sun dried tomato, but recently had a jalapeño bagel which was pretty sublime. I'm much more a fan of their savory, but their jams are good (raspberry jalapeño jam? So good!!). The pizza bagel is a staple among friends, but if you go this route I recommend the pesto. The #1 thing they sell is their cream cheese. Soooo good it's ridiculous some times. Their sandwiches are good, but I often don't feel the croissant sandwiches are worth the money. Definitely an Ithaca staple and the (only) place to go for bagels!

Excellent bagels, especially the Italian Bagel with Veggie cream cheese. This was a revelation.

I have never written a review for any restaurant so I'm not just someone that always complains... but this was the worst place I've ever been to. I don't mind paying $5 for a coffee, but this cup was more than half foam and no liquid. Desserts were terrible and dry, would not reccomend this place to anyone. Worst $20 I've ever spent.
