Great coffee and tasty baked goods in the morning (so tasty they often run out of the best baked treats!). A little pricey compared to budget coffee, but no more so than Starbucks/other premium Java joints.
Good service, although I did feel judged at one point by the very hip barista. Maybe that's part of the charm

Quality coffee, quality service, quality atmosphere.
I've been here a number of times. A cool, clean coffee house with friendly, attentive staff, quality food and coffee, and a fun place to hang with friends and family while enjoying all of the above.
I would likely come here more if there was a rotating signature espresso drink of some sort. The maple latte is tasty and very sweet.
Their lavender lemonade is amazing, though it may only be seasonal.
My boyfriend doesn't like bitter coffee, so I usually have to convince him to make the stop just for me - he jokes that he'd rather just get an americano from starbucks. I do wish there was a coffee beverage here that he liked.
The food that I've tried is pretty good - fresh and tasty. Their croissant was light, flaky and buttery -- just right. Their famous #1 sandwich is packed with fresh ingredients, and is filling, but *feels* healthy. They seem to be expanding their food menu...I don't live in Huntington anymore, but always stop in here on my way to taking my dogs to the Coindre Hall dog park...so I noticed this time there are more lunch options, which is nice.
Usually fairly crowded, but worth the wait.
Definitely come by and check it out!!

My husband and I were very excited to hear of the opening of a coffee shop in our town of OB. We would always walk by and watch the progress of the construction. We have been there a couple of times and during our last visit we had a very unpleasant experience. My husband ordered us coffee (2 cups of coffee) and as he was leaving the coffee shop, trying to open the exit door while holding our coffee, the coffee was spilling all over. The exit door is not conducive when people have their hands full of coffee because you have to pull the door open instead of pushing out. The coffee spilled all over my husband and it burnt his stomach. The lids didn't properly fit the cup. I went inside to try a different lid and not one lid fit the cup properly. I ask one of the young girls (Rosie) if there are other lids and the employee says "oh yea, the lids don't work. We got a bad batch of lids delivered." One after the other, patrons are trying to find a lid that will cover their cups properly. As patrons are leaving the coffee shop, their coffee is spilling all over. If you know the lids are bad, why put them out for your patrons? I asked to speak to a manager and he wasn't available. I left my information (name and phone number) with the employee, Rosie and still to this day haven't heard from the manager. Rosie was nice enough to give me a call later that day to let us know that she spoke to her boss and that she informed him of the incident. We didn't hear from him. I guess Southdown doesn't really care about keeping their patrons especially local ones. If I could I would post a picture of my husband's burnt stomach.

Great coffee, great breakfast sandwiches and bakery goods. Small, friendly shop that roasts their own beans. Love that they support other local merchants...scones, muffins, fresh juices and healthy choices... They even have a kambucha bar. Get there early or they'll run out of muffins and tables. Refrained from 5th star for decor...pretty plain, a little cluttered...could use some photos but I'm nit picking...I love this place!

Great coffee, good breakfast sandwiches. There are 5 small tables for seating and a small parking lot with very tight spaces. Don't bring a nice car here! The only thing preventing me from rating this 5 stars is the prices. After spending more than $13 on a large coffee and a $8.75 egg sandwich, I am usually charged full price for a second coffee. $17 is just too much for a quick breakfast in a coffee shop.

This is the second time i’ve been here and i can already say i love the place.
The atmosphere is quaint. Wooden floors and benches. Indoor plants. Moderate lighting with an open westward exposure that allows the sun in which reflects off the stores nextdoor.
The staff are friendly and courteous. They’re also informative as I was very curious where they get their coffee from.
They have a good thing going and seem to be genuine about their enthusiasm for coffee.
Their product is the best i’ve had on the island and rivals other coffee shops i’ve enjoyed in areas like Saratoga and Lancaster, PA.
If you’re in the area of Huntington, which if you’re not then you should be, then stop by and smell the coffee. You’ll be glad you did.

Coffee is delicious and food is tasty also. Great egg sandwiches. Tad pricy. Wish they would cater to customers more though. I like the lattes but they wont make me a large one so i end up buying two usually..🤷

Probably the only coffee shop on Long Island that you can get that typical " blogger " latte art. Super cute small local place with seating that reminds you of all the coffee spots in Manhattan. Their maple latte is one of my favorites!
