Kitty's Restaurant & Market Café

We had two orders of bread that came out at different times and both orders were visibly burnt. The pork and chicken were ok, but the chicken was swimming in way too much sauce and the pork was far too thick. Mushrooms were well done. Bean dish was nice. Service was ok, but again, if you’re bringing out visibly burnt bread, you’ve got work to do. Overall an overpriced meal with mediocre quality at best.

Don't be fooled by the tiny menu. Everything is delicious and the portions are big.
We started with the Chicken in a Blanket, which had a rockin mustard sauce. Plus, tempura'd Oyster Mushrooms. Totally great.
Then, my husband had the Fried Chicken, which was so good. It came with a garlic cream and sourdough bread.
I had Pastrami Spiced Lamb. You'll never get this anywhere else. SO GOOD.
I can't wait to go back to try some small plates.

Pantry items were extremely limited and oddly selected... you’d have $12 crackers next to $2 cup noodles to $10 kombuchas.

If you’re in Hudson, Kitty’s should be your first stop. The food is delicious, innovative, and fresh. There’s something for everyone on the menu. The cocktails are so good you’ll crave them days later. The desserts will have you weak in the knees.

Service is friendly, helpful, and experienced. You won’t decide which you like more: the vibrant landscaped backyard or the warm, chic dining room.

Get the lamb tartarski, chips and dip, turnips, broccoli and steelhead trout. Wash it back with a 50/50 martini and cap it off with a pavlova. Then come back and order everything else. You won’t regret it.

Food and drinks were good! I would come here for the drinks again in a heartbeat! Unfortunately, the service wasn’t great which seems to be an overall problem in Hudson.

What an amazing experience on Monday, 5/16/22 at 4:30 PM! I bought a cup of coffee before boarding a train and the sky opened up with sheets of opaque rain. Michael brought me and fellow travelers rain ponchos so that we could run across the street. I'm so grateful to everyone at Kitty's. And the coffee is great!

This review is for the market not the restaurant. Went there for their donuts but only had one left. Market was very expensive, very small but a nice variety of items.

Beautiful space, very nice back patio when open. Got the egg sandwich; eggs cooked perfectly, seemed like local bacon, but then all that goodness is sandwiched between a generic sesame seed burger bun, what a waste. The kicker was there are 3 bins labeled, compost, recycling, garbage. We watched an employee dump all three bins into one and walk across the street to throw them out in which seems like a residential trash can. You see all these people making the effort to throw everything in the correct bin all to find out it’s just a waste of time. Anyone who knows the trash company in Hudson knows recycling is not very common, so when I saw this I was excited and then disappointed. Just rip off the signs and say it’s all garbage since it’s what is true.
