I love their pour-over coffee! This is a small, quiet, cozy spot right on the corner of the canal and the bridge in Fairport. It’s hard to find the entrance; you park in the back and enter through The Box Factory, then walk all the way to the front. Also, they have a lemon-blueberry crêpe that is fantastic!!

The location is great, but I've never seen such an unfriendly staff. Their coffee that they sold us about 12 ounces for $5-$6, it was horrible. If I wish I had a way of saying this nice, but it's not worth the money.

I tried their Kombucha which was in draft and the flavors were tasty. I don't drink any coffee but you can't get their flavors anywhere. I'll be back. My server was awesome and they let me taste each flavor.

Incredible service! The drinks and food are so delicious. I would definitely recommend the Sausage Sammy. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had!

Affordable and creative coffee creations with healthy, edible, food for a balanced breakfast. Ambiance is light and relaxing with great views of the canal and Main Street.

I grew up in Fairport and used to come here when it was FVC and later the Towpath, mostly for the atmosphere and comfortable seating. However, the coffee and food used to be lackluster (I say, having lived in a number of larger cities since leaving). That is no longer the case. The coffee and espresso are excellent, and they do both nitro and pour over, like larger city coffee shops. Food is more focused on crepes/paninis, and while I haven't tried them, they look excellent.
The only issue is that FairPour is a little pricey. A similar coffee house cappuccino would cost 3.25-3.50 in San Diego but is 4.00 here. I suspect that may be because the shop is relatively new and doesn't face a ton of competition for good coffee in Rochester. It may also be that more San Diego places roast their own beans, which helps keep prices of finished drinks down.
Still, overall, an excellent shop and a great place to study!

Great Coffee, friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend the breakfast wrap.

Good latte, with nice design. They gave us a free replacement pastry when our daughter didn't like her first choice. Nice view of the canal.

Love coming here for a quick bite and a great latte!sadly I came in this evening at 4:15pm and was told they’re no longer making food because they are closing soon, and that he is the only one working. Any cafe/restaurant I visit/worked for serves until last minute! Very disappointed in this experience!

After a really terrible experience during Canal Days, I gave Fairpour another chance, only to be disappointed — they forgot to prepare my order (a latte). 3 stars for location & WiFi. Service has gone downhill over the past six months.
