Turtle Leaf Cafe

If ever you need a good, fresh bite to eat, Turtle Leaf is it.
Cafe feel with most of the seating lined up along one side of the wall back to back. There is a section in the front to sit and relax in as well.

You can tell they put a priority on fresh food! The Chicken Salad Pita is delicious. Now that they warm up the pita it is even better.

Friendly staff. Owner is often around working on his craft, It is also nice to see that when he is around the staff is just as joyful and pleasant. It is a true team at Turtle Leaf it seems. Way to go!

Truly one of the best restaurants in all of Elmira with delicious food, great ownership and friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Awesome. Food is excellent. Workers are super nice and patient with there customers. They make you feel special because they give you there undivided attention

I finally got around to checking out this place which I have heard alot about. It isnt easy because unlike most cafe's they dont open until 10 am.

The place
I love the cafe & coffee shop vibe they had a a few comfy chairs & couches ( in fact a girl was sleeping in one!) by a nice fire place. It had plenty of table space with a cool bar even. It was very clean and set up well

The food
I went here with my wife we ordered the Strawberry Turkey Brie and Ham, cheddar, pear panin's on the advice of the lady at the counter and wow were they good. Everything tasted so fresh you can tell they use quality stuff in the things in their menu. They both came with fresh grapes and carrots which was great healthy option. I was so sad I had just come from Heavenly cup so I was too full to try some of the amazing coffee options they had but I will be back! I normally go to Panera Bread when I'm up by the mall I'm so excited I now have a better option. If you like Panera you will love this place I can't wait to try their coffee and baked goods both looked really good!

The staff
They were great the girl was very friendly and offered great advice when ordering. Another guy came up after we got our food and made sure everything was good. The staff gets an A+!!! Read less

The strawberry turkey Brie was AMAZING. It came with some carrots/dip and grapes on the side, which is a healthier choice than the usual chips or fries. Very fresh ingredients and great coffee as well!

Great food, excellent atmosphere, very nice place, awesome experience. The coffee is the best in town. I love their salmon burger. Their smoothies are great too !

Totally surprised to find this place on a day trip to Elmira on business. Delicious, healthy lunch options - sandwiches, panini, salads - love that they served my ham & pear & cheese panini with carrot Sticks & grapes, just like I would for my kids!! Need to try a smoothie the next time I'm in town

Ordered an omelet online and in notes asked for Turkey sausage. Omelet had Turkey and pork sausage in it. Called restraunt Adam was out shopping asked me to call back in an hour. Worker couldn't find my online order but called back when he did find it and said he would leave it up for Adam. When I called Adam he also couldn't locate order and was very unapologetic to me. Said they can not see notes and I informed him that someone had to see it since I had those meats in it. He informed me that if they had Turkey sausage it would have been an option. Adam seemed very rushed and just wanted to get me off phone. I wouldn't recommend online ordering.

Excellent locally sourced food. Great for lunch! The city needs to help with the parking, but that is not the restaurants fault. Go there and eat, you will be glad you did!

We got a breakfast burrito, a turkey with artichoke sandwich and a smoothie, all were really good. Cute little Cafe, we'll definitely be back.
