The Donut Shop of Eagle Bay

THE BEST DONUTS!!!! End of Story! Seriously, this is a MUST stop for my family and I every single time we come up here. I have been making this stop for over 10 years now. IN the middle of winter, I crave these donuts, and it stinks because they are closed in the winter. Yes I would make the 3.5 hour drive here, just for these donuts. :)

We were tourists driving through and friends had recommended this place. On our way up we tried to stop about 30 minutes before closing time, and they were already locked up. On our way back through we hit them in the morning and they were open with steady traffic. No real outdoor places to eat so we got our combos to go (2 donuts and large coffee for $4). Fair price, coffee was reasonable, and the donuts were very tasty. They only had plain and cinnamon, and while both were excellent, I don't know why anyone would order the plain when the cinnammon/ sugar sprinkle definitely made for a much better donut. Overall a great little local spot.

AMAZING!!! The cinnamon donuts were great, but I have to say that the breakfast sandwich with sausage is the best breakfast sandwich I've ever tasted, anywhere, ever! We will be back every trip from now on. Thanks for the fantastic food.

Not very good and breakfast and doughnuts for my husband, daughter and I was $40! The breakfast sandwiches were not terrible but not very good. The doughnuts were definitely not that good and expensive and the coffee was so terrible I couldn't drink it. Also, there were takes to sit and eat but no garbage to throw your stuff out.

We've always passed by this donut shop without giving it a try for about 5 years in a row until we finally decided to stop in on our way home from Lake Placid. The service was fast and friendly and the donuts are out of this world delicious. Now, we got these at around 2ish in the afternoon if memory serves me right, so they weren't fresh, but it doesnt matter with this shop. No matter the time of day, these donuts are melt in your mouth spectacular. If you're new to the area I suggest stopping in during the morning hours for the freshest batch, and punch it in the GPS because it's easily missable to most, it's definitely worth every penny.

I wake up early and get my children fresh donuts just like my parents did when I was a little girl! The fresh hot cinnamon donuts are soo good!

We stopped on our way to camp and had a sub, a BBQ, and a dozen donuts to bring to the family. All were excellent! The sub and BBQ were toasted and very tasty, the donuts of course we're fresh and delicious! Quick service from the time you order until you get your food!

This place is a Adirondack legendary establishment. Everytime we camp in Old Forge I wake up early our first morning and get a dozen to bring back to camp for the family. Just two type of donuts (cinnamon and plain) but like most places that offer a limited menu they have perfected what they do. You will not find a better donut period. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are also very good.
