A super cute place! They very much go for the "old world" vibe (as the name implies). The decor is very appropriate and tasteful. They've got old fashion candies for sale. They also have a number of deli-type foods you can order—soups, sandwiches, and salads, some of which a fairly unique. It is an order-at-the-counter kind of place. Would definitely recommend as it is a lovely experience.

Good abed friendly customer service. Clean and quaint old-shop look. Awesome sandwiches and lovely outdoor seating. They even have some gluten-free options on the menu. Highly recommend it!

Definitely a good place if you are looking for a nice quick lunch, hot soup, coffee in the morning or some ice cream on a hot day. The food is always made fresh, and there are a wide variety of sweets, and desserts that you can choose from. The staff are very friendly and the environment gives you an older era type of feel. I truly enjoy this restaurant. Quick, easy, and satisfying.

Awesome, eclectic selection of food & candy. Quality ice cream, friendly staff, and atmosphere. Seating inside is limited, but there is an extensive exterior space maintained by the city. Prices are typical for Market Street - not cheap, but you won't break the bank. And it's quality food.

My wife and I stopped in here to cool down after a warm walk from the Museum of Glass. I cant comment on the cafe part, but their ice cream was very good. My wife got the Fudge Monkey and I got the Black Out sundae. Both came in the old-style sundae glasses and were filled to the rim.
They slightly overfilled mine, which led to a bit of a mess, but nothing a few napkins couldn't contain. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place had an old-time feel to it.
If I were to come to Corning again, I'd try them for lunch.

My son and I had lunch there on Monday. The soup was delicious . He had a chef salad and a bowl of soup. I had a half of a turkey sandwich and a cup of soup. We both agreed that the food was good, fresh and servings were plenty. His salad was very large and a bowl of soup was a big bowl. My son is a groen man with a good appetite and he was full when he finished.
My sandwich had a generous serving of turkey and the marbled rye bread was very soft and tasty. It was just thr right amount for me.
It has a warm and friendly atmosphere.
I would highly recommend it.

Clearly the go to place for lunch. Busy but the staff has a great system to keep things moving smoothly. Ate Mediterranean sandwich and the soup of the day. Everything we had was delicious

Ice cream 🍦 is yummylicious 😋 on a hot summer day! Chocolate crunch is my favourite!
They have the best BBQ chicken, tuna sandwich and salads. Everything taste fresh. Great quality as well. Excellent service everytime we go :)

This is an OUTSTANDING place to eat when you're in Corning. If the owners are there, absolutely 5 star. Perfect in fact. When they step out, sadly, it is noticeable. Staff is loud and slightly tacky, complain loudly, service is slower and food ever so slightly less perfect. The instant owners come back... perfection! Still well above average whenever you go, but I wish they were aware that some staff go "truck stop" (no offense) when they leave.

Excellent food and service. They are a little pricey for lunch, but the portions more than make up for it.
