Of all the coffee places in town this one was first and still is the best. Good drinks and relaxing place that you can actually hold a conversation. Live Music some nights is ok. Don't let the exterior fool you. Walk in and enjoy!

One of my favorite cafés in the Capital Region! The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing and the coffee and food is delicious.

My fiance ordered me an iced vanilla latte. It tasted rancid. He tried a few sips go see if it really tasted bad. It didn't to him, but I didn't like it so I asked him to take it back. They said they couldn't take it because it was "half empty" yet the whip cream took up most of the space in the large cup. The bakery treats are good, but that experience along with the nasty latte rubbed me the wrong way. I'll just stick with Starbucks. I mean, at least the can make a decent latte.

Took my 2 children there for 2 hot chocolates and a cinnamon cappuccino after waiting 20 minutes to actually get our drinks. Cappuccino was more then 3 quarters milk foam and the woman that was serving was extrememly rude to me and my children! Will never ever go back there! And i will not recommend going there unless you want over priced mediocre coffee and a rude snippy "barista" I would just go to starbucks right across the parking lot if i were you!

Great community cafe. They support local non-profits and have unique food & drinks. Order ahead if you don't have a long time to eat.

Surprisingly wide variety of food and drink options. Neat atmosphere. Often times the music is too loud for a comfortable casual conversation at your table.

Breakfast ends at noon. Lunch items are paninis -salads-flat breads. They were out of one lunch item for paninis after ordering and then replacement item didn't have bacon. Latte served in a chipped mug. This place has improved over the years (from previous owner) but still lacks something

I love Mocha Lisa's for many reasons and have been going there for years. 2 years ago, I would have given 5 stars. They offer a really great social atmosphere, great coffee and paninis, great pastries, free wifi and great service. However, since they opened, the once "comfy" arm chairs have never been replaced. The chairs are thread bare, the fabric is ripped the springs are broken and they are all in desperate need of replacement. I have even asked them on comment cards several times to please replace the chairs because people who are older or have a bit of extra weight have a hard time getting out of them. Other locals have even mentioned to me that it isn't as appealing as it used to be because the owners are resting on their laurels and don't seem to care about replacing the chairs. If they were to replace the chairs, I would give it a 5, but as of the date of writing this review, the chairs are dirty, uncomfortable and need replacement and that is a huge part of the experience so I can only give 3 stars.

My husband and I went for supper on Friday, 12/1. I ordered grilled cheese with bacon and a large cappuccino. Husband ordered a panini--turkey, bacon, no cheese and iced tea. What we received: grilled cheese with bacon (correct), hot chocolate, turkey panini with red peppers and cheese, mango madness drink. One correct out of four! These particular employees were clueless. They remade my husband's sandwich and shrugged off the rest. Very bad for business!!!!!

It's a suburban coffee shop, by my take it's trying too hard to have the charisma / appeal of a more urban place while also being completely bland. What another reviewer mentioned about the windows being blindingly bright demonstrates this: it's as though someone decided that coffee shops should be dark / gloomy on the inside, therefore MochaLisa's is.

That said, it's totally adequate at providing coffee and generic food at generic prices. Fine if you can stand the music.
