Textbook Restaurant & Coffee Shop

Awesome spot! Super friendly staff, good coffee and tasty eats. Currently eating the vegan fried chicken sandwich and it's quite yummy! Overall, the vibe and energy of this place is amazing. Definitely a great little coffee shop to have in the neighbourhood.

Finally a cool neighborhood spot where I can get amazing coffee, a tasty sandwich and a refreshing beer! This place truly has it all. My favorite sandwich was the prosciutto one but the merguez is equally as good. What stuck out the most is how friendly and involved the owners were. From the second I ordered I was greeted by them and they made sure I had everything I needed. I have been back many times and have recommend it to a lot of friends!

Holy moly the fries are 🔥 🔥 🔥! Tried the chicken sandwich and the steak sandwich. Both great and pretty unique. But *wow* those fries. Good coffee too.

Great new spot in the neighborhood!! Delicious coffee, breakfast sandwiches are straight FIRE (that’s what the kids say now right?) and yummy fried chicken sandwich. The employees are all super happy and friendly, which tells you everything you need to know about the owners. Friendly guys, and native New Yorkers who are building an inviting and inclusive space in the neighborhood. Great vibes all around.

Love this place! Great variety of coffee drinks that are fairly priced. Their chocolate croissant is to die for and so is the egg & cheese sandwich. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed. Staff is also wonderful and they are “dog friendly” (they have pup cups, dog treats and a water bowl outside for anyone who’s with a dog!)

Delicious coffee, super cute space, nice people who are really trying to make this awesome. Fried chicken sandwich was delicious and HUGE, enough for two people, and very fresh. Prices are on the high end, but if all the food has this portion size, it's a steal. I would appreciate if they had more price points on the menu so that it feels more inclusive of the neighborhood (students, hospital staff, long time residents). So far i am a fan that they are trying hard and having fun while making tasty things. Turns to a bar overnight, which I haven't tried yet.

This is my new favorite place! They have such cool drinks on their menu, but my favorite is the Butterfly Pea Latte (TRY IT!!!!!) Love the breakfast sandwiches, too. The staff is so outgoing and friendly - the kind of place everyone wishes they had in their neighborhood!

This place is incredible to the eyes, nose and mouth. It’s so cool looking and has two of my favorite things. Amazing coffee and killer breakfast sandwiches. Staff and owners are super friendly (and hilarious). Can’t wait to go back.

Great new spot. Grabbed a croissant and watermelon juice for my walk through the park. Everything was so fresh and really hit the spot. The owners were super friendly and you can tell they really care. I’ll definitely swing by next time I’m in the neighborhood for the sandwiches.
